One female staff who took the order started making coffee before she even finished paying after taking the order, and another female Asian staff came by wearing gloves and throwing out the bin. The Asian female staff was a customer and someone she had seen a few times was standing there, so I knew she was trying to help, but she didn't wash her hands or change her gloves, and touched the plastic vinyl on the croissant I was trying to eat, so I asked her, 'Why are you wearing gloves? 'Do you touch food without taking off your clothes or washing yourhands?'And then, the Asian female staff said to me, ‘I don’t touch the food directly, but what does it matter if I touch the food with tongs, knives, etc.?’ ‘What day is it today? Why are there so many customers like this?’But it’s not hygienic. Isn’t that right?Then she asked me, ‘Do you keep it that clean at home too?’ And I said, ‘Yes.’ When I said that, the female staff said, 'You should live a clean life like that.'Is this what a cafe employee would say to a customer? Just say 'I'm sorry' and change your gloves or wash your hands before coming back? It seems that improvements in hygiene and friendliness are needed.Today, the bathroom was dirty, the coffee was not good, the staff was unfriendly and had no concept of hygiene, and I felt like I never wanted to come again.

The New Malden Branch is lovely, good vibes!THE HEAD OFFICE SERIOUSLY NEEDS TO SORT A MANAGER THOUGH!!!They keep loosing really good Bariesters due to this - and they work hard!!!Summer - main Bariester, is fantastic and helps keep the place going!Nero Corporation - please be good to your staff!

Sitting in the cafe right now and I've made up my mind that I'm not coming here again. I usually bring my daughter here at the weekend, and I don't know if it's just weekend staff, but the service is so poor a lot of the times. Baristas look like they're forced to be there, they get my orders wrong or they forget orders, and they don't apologise for this either and look at me as if I've done something wrong.The first time I had a porridge here it was really good, but since that time it's been watery or not cooked enough. There is one lady who seems more upbeat and friendly, she might be a manager, but she's not here every time we visit.

Sent the completely wrong food on my order. What I got was totally dry and horrible. If you can’t manage to use the Just Eat App to mark something as unavailable don’t have your deliveries on at all.

My regular when at work and is always busy, the service is friendly and the coffee is great with a wide selection of foods and drinks to accompany the coffee, for the busy vibe it is also surprisingly clean whenever we dine in

Depends on staff, sometimes the staff are very efficient and great, sometimes not so great. Overall, great cafe in New Malden I like to visit often.
