awful, awful, awful customer service. I was served by the young lady with dark black hair and a fringe and she was very rude and inconsiderate and had a terrible attitude, completely ruined our trip.

What an amazing place I mean seriously, came with the wife and my 4 year old not too long ago. Reece had taken good care of all of us throughout and nothing short of a delight! 10/10 atmosphere, food and drink! Can't wait to bring my Mother for her 63rd birthday!

Great staff very helpful, and friendly. food has never disappointed me. Just a shame Greene King doesn't purchase a new coffee machine!! I know its a pub, but serving food is nice to have a decent coffee after. the machine is out of action more times than not. Can't moan at the staff it's not their fault

Visited today with my wife and 6 year old. Food was excellent and served timely. Staff were very good and attentive. Handled themselves particularly well, especially when a woman was shouting and swearing in front of children. If I could give ten stars, I would

This is an old style pub in the community. The manager is a cracking guy , and nothing is too much trouble. The food is acceptable and well priced. Served by friendly staff who can't do enough to ensure you're happy. The only reason for 4 stars is that the furniture is very dated and jaded, however, the manager is very much aware of this and, as the finances are made available, the decor and furniture shall be renovated or replaced.Very happy to call in a couple of times a week.

We drove up from Somerset to meet up with an old friend here on the 3rd September to pay our respect to him and his family, as we can’t make the funeral. I know the pub from the days as the Troubadour back in the 70’s when I lived there. I have to say that everything about our visit was a joy. The staff were friendly and very capable. The standards in the pub were great and the atmosphere during the football showed that this is good pub to watch sport in.Well done team Woodlands Edge.

Came in on Tuesday evening with a friend wasn’t sure what to have to eat but Michelle behind the bar suggested the buy 1 get 1 free burger meals which was lovely. Also good selling pitch getting us to buy the 2 for £6 cocktails which was even better! Will be back again soon.

I am usually a tourist travelling to these parts to watch football games on the massive TVs that this pub holds, however regardless of the wonderful viewing facilities, the workers are so friendly and pleasant, the drinks are very reasonably priced and the food is of a good enough standard that you'll want to eat here again and again.Overall a great day out if you're in the area and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
