Had the most amazing evening with my daughter on Saturday evening. The food was tasty and hot. The staff very attentive. The atmosphere cosy intimate great for a one to one catch up. Family tables also enjoying their evening. Would definitely be going back.

My husband and I eat at Gilbey's regularly and we always have a great time. Not only is the food delicious, (you can tell it's freshly prepared) also the owners and staff are always so friendly and welcoming. Would give 100 stars if we could.

We visited this evening for the Christmas menu as a birthday treat. The service was second to none, food incredible and the environment was so peaceful and pleasant. All of the food was so fresh, even the side salad was delicious in its own right. Highly recommend this place and can’t rate the staff highly enough. We have visited before for breakfast and can vouch that that was equally delicious and the staff equally attentive!

Absolutely gorgeous food, and dining in the courtyard was perfect for a summer evening. The staff and owners were super friendly and accommodating despite having a few challenges on the evening. Will definitely be visiting again.

What a lovely place, we went to celebrate an anniversary the staff were lovely, food was fantastic, we had a great relaxed lunch. Definitely recommend it. Lots of food choices, desserts were brilliant.

A delightful family run bistro. We had the seafood platter with chips and mussels as an extra. A nice mix of hot and cold fresh seafood. The mussels were spot on, not too garlicy or creamy with nice bread on the side. I could go on and on about each beautiful item on the platter. All washed down by an excellent bottle of Spanish rose. The coffees were rather large and very nice as was the cheesecake. A very enjoyable hour and three quarters, our choice, as we slowly let the very enjoyable afternoon pass. The owners were very attentive and allowed us to dictate when and if we wanted anything else. Looking forward to returning very soon in the near future.
