Parklands Quendon Hall - Wedding Venue in Essex

What an absolutely exquisite location. The grounds and the buildings are just gorgeous.You can easily plan for an outdoor event, then revert to Plan B, weather not permitting. There are lounges and rooms to wander around in so if you need to fall back on Plan B, you will not be stifled.

My partner and I had the most wonderful wedding we could have imagined at Quendon Hall in August. Lauren went absolutely above and beyond to make sure we had a perfect day, all the way through the planning, the whole of the wedding day and even managed to get me to relax on the day, which I never thought would have been possible! But she handled everything like a true professional which she is. The venue is stunning, all of our guests had a wow moment as they drove up to the venue, and everyone had a really enjoyable day including us. Rooms are stunning, we also stayed in south lodge the night before which was also stunning.Fantastic day all round, perfect memories to last forever. Thank you so much to Lauren and the team at Quendon for making it all so perfect, we would recommend this venue to anyone!

Lovely venue for a wedding. I was there for a wedding yesterday and was very impressed. The grounds are beautiful, especially with the reindeers. Perfect for Spring, Summer and Autumn weddings. I'm sure Winter weddings will look beautiful there too

This venue is so versatile, it’s basically a blank canvas that you can have any way you want. Your imagination van run wild with this venue and create a bespoke wedding just for you. The staff are more than helpful and will accommodate you and your guests to the highest level. Having played there several times as a DJ it is always different each time which goes to show how versatile this venue is.

I had to write a review for this stunning wedding venue. We got married here in May and I can't thank the team enough for making our day so special and something of a fairytale!Sue and all the girls that helped along the way were incredible, patient and listened to our every wish.Quendon Hall is truly magical place and if we could do it all over again we would! Every guest said it was the best wedding they have ever been to and we felt the same!Thank you Quendon Hall for making our wedding a magical day that we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

Quendon Hall was the venue for our daughter's wedding at tge beginning of the week. Amazing and beautiful venue. Really helpful team. All food plentiful and delicious and thoroughly enjoyed by all, including those who had the vegan and vegetarian option.Rooms at venue all beautiful, clean and bathrooms supplied with a nice little selection of mini toiletries. The rooms even had a small sewing kit in case of emergencies,We stayed at South Lodge the night before the Wedding and that was lovely too. Breakfast at the venue the day after the wedding was excellent.No faults whatsoever, 100 percent recommend.

Friendly staff, nice big venue for large weddings. DJing there was nice as the sound system in the ceiling so music directed down over the crowd which adds to the atmosphere.Devoted Events &DJ mark winter - In Events Essex

Beautiful venue and surrounding gardens for a wedding. Clean and well decorated. Drive up to the hall was through picturesque villages.

We stayed as guests for a wedding reception the grounds/house and rooms are stunning to look at and had a great view from bedroom window of the fountain which was lit at night and during the daylight we had deer to watch in the distance and they moved about freely...The reception was held in the gazebo attached and the night went well and in the morning we had to leave by 9-9.30am and hand in our key card which was really early to be kicked out but breakfast was delicious and great quality -thank you!!But here's the bad points it's not great for the disabled too many stairs and no lift! Think there are several cottages around on the grounds but it's getting into the main house that's difficult and then there's the rooms - looks stunning with huge bathroom but the wooden furniture on the dressing table only 2xdrawers out of 6 opened & 1 of those was broken it only had half of a base on it ! The bathroom was spacious with a modern shower but there wasn't anywhere to put your shower gel/shampoo etc other than the floor and no rails to hold onto & it was very slippery so I had this great looking shower that I couldn't use-so pleased showered at home-did have a wash in the sink and there was a chair to sit!!!Could also hear the staff shouting downstairs until 1.30am as we were near the stairs and again was woken at 6am by the hooverWould I stay again? Yes I would but not in the main house I'd like to try 1 of the cottages away from the noise and maybe a shower that's more suitable. ..the staff were polite & I know they were really helpful with the couple from getting married there last year and coming back to celebrate this year with lockdown rules last year and having to change dates shows they liked it there otherwise they wouldn't have come back
