The Groom Room Newmarket
This Groom room is located on the upper floor in Pets at Home Newmarket. There is a large free car park outside with dedicated disabled parking. Access to the Groom room is via a staircase or a lift. The staff were friendly and made a good job of grooming my dog.

Our dog was fine when he came in but when he came out he was already injured they said they cut his nails wrong so we took him to the vet to sew up the wound we paid £700. They need to reimburse the money

The groom room - pets at home Newmarket is the best groomers for miles and we travel a good distance to get our dog, an Australian Labradoodle (Tessa) groomed here, our dog gets matted all the time and it’s the breed but all the groomers are fantastic, they really take care and their attention to detail is very good, we come here 8-12 weeks and always happy with the outcomes, so thank you and defiantly be returning and highly recommend the groomers

Been taking my large double coated husky/gsd here for 5 years with great results. Last appointment was with 2 newer younger staff members who sporadically shaved her down to the skin and didn't remove even half as much undercoat as I can get out of her even after a second try. When I querried why the bald areas all over her, I was advised she would be refused if she ever comes back with a matt. Shoddy training, zero understanding of double coated breads. NOT IMPRESSED WITH NEW STAFF MEMBERS.

Have taken my puppy several times. He always comes home smart and happy. He now trusts the girls and allows them to trim all round his face. I usually find him enjoying a cuddle when I go and collect him. Thank you

I am mainly very happy with the staff, the way they groom my dog and how good they are with him. However, there is one lady (who is lovely too) but has not made a good job with him. His legs were cut so short. Yes, they were knotted, but in the past the other groomers have thinned out the fur so he still has the ‘bushy’ look. I will book again but will have to request that this staff member does not cut him as this is the second time I have not been happy and for £52 I should not like that.

Fantastic grooms. Sam the manager is excellent and every dog that leaves has been beautifully cared for and styled. All the girls are great. Wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else. 5 star service!!
