Nice place for a walk along the waters edge or to watch the boats coming and going from the Riverside pub whilst enjoying a nice meal and a pint.

A stunning location to enjoy time by the riverside, whether for a drink/meal or a stay on the river itself. It attracts a lot of water enthusiasts, particularly canoeists and barge boats.

I love Saltford Marina, I have just moved onto a boat there. It is nestled into a beautiful village setting with wildlife in abundance. Some really good pubs nearby e.g. The Bird in Hand that serves real ales and the food is pretty good too.

Cool place just off the Bristol and Bath Railway Path. It takes not more than an hour to cycle there from Bristol Downton. You can enjoy a drink and breathe in the nature there.

What a great place to spend a warm sunny morning or afternoon. A good pub to have a drink or a bite and plenty of parking space. An outdoor playground with picnic tables for those with kids. You can launch your SUP or kayak from there too. Price is average for the area, on the cheaper side compared to Bath. Across the water, the cycle path to Bristol or Bath. And on that side, perfect spot for a picnic.

Had a beef horseradish and tomato sandwich,which I can only describe as amazing. All ingredients were fresh and very tasty,one of the best I've had in a long timeMy daughter had the coronation chicken and was equally delighted
