Staunton Country Park
Happened to be nearby one Sunday morning and popped in for a walk. The car park machine was broken and was running on an honesty system. We went to the gift shop and had a lovely chat with a charming and knowledgeable person there. She took our car details and a note of the time and asked us to come back on our way out. We did but I guess not everyone does??The park is dog and family friendly with interesting walks, vistas, follies, water features. Had a coffee and cake in the courtyard cafe. Recommended

Staunton Country Park
There's so much to do here that it isn't entirely possible to spend the whole day exploring.On one side you have the paid area where you will find the farm, gardens and cafe.These are all brilliant, especially the gardens, which are stunning and well maintained! The farm is fun, and kids will love feeding the animals. We had a lovely lunch at the cafe which had lots of food options.On the other side you will find a lovely park which has stunning views and some estate walks. The walks are worth doing, but the signposting isn't always great.Parking isn't cheap, but just remember you are paying for the maintenance of the park.

A beautiful park w/ many enjoyable trails to walk, run, or cycle. They host a 5K weekly at 9am on Saturday!

Staunton Country Park
This is a nice park to relax and have a picnic. There is a small play area and lookout tower. A slope leads down to a lake, where there is an island which you can access via a bridge.

Interesting park with quite a bit of history, I was pleasantly surprised. I really like the mini museum inside the gift shop. Best to check opening times before leaving as it closes quite early even during the summer

Staunton Country Park
Our 2nd time visiting Staunton country park and it was a best day. Easy to get from us. We took bus 20 and very easy to get off. You don't need to walk a lot to get there. On the opposite side is staunton farm if you like to see some animals. My son enjoyed it too much.
