Aqua Sana Spa Suffolk
We’re so disappointed because three of us went to Aqua Sana yesterday and was really disappointed. We had high hopes after the renovation and we have all been many times before. All the wonderful different steam rooms have gone, and there’s only one that was ok. The other two steam rooms are really uncomfortable and you can’t sit back and relax. The back of the spa downstairs absolutely stank of mould. The whole spa now smells of chlorine, rather than the wonderful aroma it used to have, because of the new foot spa and pool access being open, rather than behind doors to keep the chlorine smell contained from the rest of the spa. There’s now more dry hot rooms and they’re no different to each other sensory wise, just more hot dry heat, and a view out of the window. More seating areas have replaced other steam rooms which was so disappointing. There was far too many people and was much busier than it used to be. Not enough hooks for everyones robes. It was very loud everywhere with people taking and so it wasn’t relaxing, not even in the upstairs quiet areas where people continued to talk, rather than relax even through a sign was put out to say people are sleeping. The cafe is nice but lights in the cafe are ridiculously bright and the spot lights need adjusting so they’re not directed right into your eyes. Only three new outdoor hot tubs outside, and a new hut outside for sitting in and there’s no real purpose to sit in that, especially with other guests having loud conversations! The food was nice and all staff we met were nice.Very unhappy with the day and really disappointed and it’s definitely not worth the higher price. We’re all so sad as it was our favourite spa, by far, pre renovation and it’s just not relaxing there anymore. Such a massive shame.

Beautiful renovation to the spa, really well thought out and great experiences. Stayed in one of the new spa suites and service was excellent from start to finish, and the suite itself was luxurious and very spacious. Our only mistake was going to a restaurant in the main centre parcs in the evening as with all the business and people, it kind of broke us out of our relaxed state. Overall it was fantastic, and we'll definitely be returning next year.

Excellent level of service when staying in a spa break. Lovely suite, lovely breakfast, great welcome and good service throughout. The spa includes a range of steam rooms, saunas and relaxation areas and is clean and tidy throughout.

A fantastic spa (my partner said it was the best she'd been to) with a huge range of different saunas and relaxation rooms. The exposed indoor/ outdoor pool is also great.Well worth a visit regardless of whether you are a Centre Parcs resident or visiting

The spa has been nicely refurbished, arriving at 9am is a must. If you arrive later the spa gets very busy.No treatments booked as £99 an hour is extortionate. Our spa package included a breakfast pastry that was ok, the lunch was awful. Got told they will not change anything away from menu. Then what did come was vile. The food options are like being in a vegan retreat! Ordered a slice of can and when asking how old it was as it was so dry that they are held for 3 days!!!! Then they have the cheek to charge 7.5% service charge on top of the bill! Prices are already inflated and your trapped here with no other options.I won't be coming for a day again, next time it will only be a twilight session. 3/5 overall.

Had a very relaxing day at Aqua Sana. Lunch delicious, experience itself extremely relaxing. Loved the water beds, the volcanic steam room and ice cave. I thoroughly enjoyed my facial, the young lady that provided my treatment was friendly and made me very comfortable. All very relaxing.

I visited the newly refurbished spa with my mum this week. My mum is terminally ill with cancer and the staff were so accommodating for us. The team who helped us book were wonderful, they opened the dual treatment room for us so that we could have our treatments at the same time and I could help my mum get comfortable on the bed. She is a wheelchair user and I was nervous about getting her around but everywhere was fully accessible. The team booked us a chemo-friendly treatment which was recommended. We had two lovely beauticians called Nicky and Zoe who made us feel very at ease. They made sure we didn’t feel rushed and also helped us move the booking with the mobility bus service on site. We both really enjoyed the treatment and were so pleased we had booked it. I would really recommend doing this for anyone going through chemo or has accessibility requirements as this is one thing you are guaranteed to enjoy. Thank you all so much!

If this is your first time to a spa you will be wowed, and will love it. If you are a regular spa goer and have previously been here then this maybe not for you. Upstairs is pretty much just a sleeping area, lots of different beds and areas (we got told off by the spa police, no talk in these areas). Take your bottle of water and put in your bag, you get given the bag to carry around, although you can't refill it very easy. They only have 1 drinks station on each floor, definitely need more water dispensers. Staff were lovely and always smiling and helpful. Really enjoyed the helpful room session trying the products and learning about the skin. The big pool in the middle was alot cooler than usual. One of the tiny hot tubs outside didn't have bubbles working and the zen garden is no longer there. No balcony up stairs out in the open, no more with bed and blankets to look out at view, this is virtual instead in a room with big screens on TV showing the 4 seasons. Lovely restaurant with polite staff and good choice of food, pre book breakfast, lunch slot to make sure you get time you want if you are in a big group like us. Take your own flip flops, none supplied anymore. If on a day spa trip Take your own towel to go into the big pool in main area after and enjoy the rest of the resort facilities. Country club was nice for a cup of tea and bar food after.

First time visiting the refurbished spa on a day package. In addition to lunch, you now get a light breakfast which was most welcome especially as the price has increased. More info about food and drinks included in day package should be made available as it wasn't clear. I think I last went in about 2011 when you could get a spa day for 2 for about £75. It's now £139 EACH! (Without treatments)There are now lots more areas to lounge and relax and it's great when guests keep the noise down. About the same number of steam and sauna rooms as before and the pool at the centre of the spa has remained. The outdoor hot tubs are a great addition, even on a rainy day! Treatments are incredibly expensive. I had an Elemis Deep Tissue Massage which was average at best. No choice of oil used and I don't feel it was worth £99. I wouldn't bother having a treatment again but happy to return to the spa. The towels provided are tiny and there could've been more seating provided in the changing rooms. Unless I missed them, there are no toilets upstairs in the spa. If I lived nearer I would visit more often as it does have a good selection of experiences and relaxation areas. We found staff were helpful & friendly and food perfectly acceptable. Changing rooms get very busy around 4:30/5pm when evening guests start to arrive. Overall, a nice relaxing day was had and will definitely return.

Mixed bag for us. Arrival experience was poor with no parking spaces available as anyone and everyone had parked in the spa car park. Your Overnight spa break customers should have reserved spaces. Then there was No welcome drink as outlined on the booking page. Welcome lounge was also tiny meaning only one set of guests can be checked in at once. Changing rooms are tiny for the amount of numbers. The spa rooms were really good but often not relaxing enough as it was far too crowded with people coming in and out continuously. Amount of Guests not closing doors after them in saunas and steam rooms was a joke. Not to mention people talking loudly throughout even in the quiet cosy rooms. Seriously Need to reduce day guest numbers and also inform guests about spa etiquette at these price points (£700 for a 1 night spa break)! Staff were great, treatment massages were excellent, accommodation suite was fantastic. Overall would stay again at an aqua sana but the Woburn one is a far better experience than this one.
