When they made the shop into herons they really should have made the isle behind the freezers another row of into another row of freezers for more frozen food.

This shop is very small with very narrow aisles. They sell just about everything that home bargain sells, with most things being a little bit more expensive at heron. They have quite a good range in their freezer sections. And we did try a few of their frozen pies and chicken. I found the quality to be not that great. Home Bargains is much better quality.

Heron foods were on the too good to go app. Went today and none available even though we had paid. A male worker said it was the apps fault and he would go upstairs and cancel it for me. I am still waiting for this to happen and for our money back. My advice don't get a Heron food too good to go item. This shop is not the best. Many items over priced. Heron foods in Whitehaven seems to have better priced products. Seemingly I was the third person to go and get a too good to go item. Well why hasn't someone done something about it. If the manager reads this please cancel the orders and refund our money.

This is in the old Savers and close to Home Bargains. Really some great bargains - Gu Sticky Toffee Pudding and cheesecakes £1.25 in the chiller cabinet at the door...also Ben and Jerry's £1.50 for some flavours...the day I was in they had reduced bread for 12 pence for a small loaf...let's face it Carlisle needed this. I remember when there was Farmfoods and Iceland near that location...OK the shop is small and narrow aisles but it was well stocked with everything you need and handy for the local buses and the bus station....
