I came here for my birthday with my friends and it was absolutely phenomenal. The ladies who were in charge that day were really friendly and fun, and were very informative (I felt sorry for their ears though; we were very loud in the room).We managed to escape our room (Dark Arts) with 6 minutes and 9 seconds to spare, which my friends and I were ecstatic about.If you're not sure of what to do with your friends/colleagues as an activity outside of having drinks, I would highly recommend coming to Mindlock and having a go at an escape room.I can't wait to come back and try the other rooms!

Was really good experience. We did v90. But the most expensive escape room I’ve ever done. I don’t understand the pricing, most escape rooms it’s a fixed price no matter if it’s 2 or 6. This one if it’s 2 it’s £48 or if it’s 6 it’s 90? For the same room, same time, same assistance…? Makes 0 sense. Wouldn’t go here again purely based on the extortionate price.

On a friends group trip, we firstly booked and completed V90, and after such a great experience we returned the following day to try dark arts. Phoebe in particular made our experience entertaining, smooth and was a fantastic host overall. All of us had a great time and would recommend this experience.

Really fun experience, a definite must if you are around York.Thank you to Phoebe for not only accommodating 2 groups of us at very short notice but for being an amazing host the entire way through!

Absolutely fantastic. We played cludo - exciting and good balance of challenge and achievability. Great decor and hands-on activity. Staff were also super friendly and animated, which made the experience wven better from start to finish. Thanks Phoebe!

Such a fun hour. It was my first escape room and won't be my last. The staff were really friendly and helpful, they explained really clearly how the game would run and gave options for how we would like to get clues. I would definitely recommend others to visit.

Done both the Cluedo and Dark Arts Rooms. Each time we've been we have received a warm welcome and introduction to the games and the games themselves are fun and unique with the right amount of challenge for their difficulty levels. I highly recommend doing these escape rooms

It was an incredible experience for the family. We played the Dark Arts room and it was great fun. It was made very well with many clues for you to solve and hidden items along the way. Staff was friendly and we would love to come back.
