We had a really positive experience today. We pre booked our appointment online which was quick and easy. We arrived at the store 25 minutes early, but were kept updated with who was seeing us and how long they'd be with the previous customers. Rob who served us was really friendly and helpful and we left feeling good. The fitter is coming in a couple of days to check everything over and give us a final cost, which is great.NB we've since had the surveyor round and the price has increased quite significantly. In store they didn't mention that due to the type of stairs we have (floating stairs, one half with backboard) it'll actually cost £5/per step extra to fit the carpet. They also didn't confirm the number of under door brackets we'd need, so only quoted for 2, when there's 6. Something we didn't consider when we were in the store. The guy we spoke to was aware that we had this type of staircase and didn't select the option when calculating the estimate. Please make sure you give all details you are aware of, otherwise you may have a surprise when you get the 'official' quote. Frustrating, but we felt that we'd committed to the project by this point and decided to stick with it.

I went to Cribbs Causeway in Febuary to buy a cloud suite power recliner and 2 seater sofa.I received 2 emails this week telling me of delays to my estimated delivery time. Was told that my delivery would now be estimated by the end of June!The reason is that parts of my suite namely the material and the mechanics of my power recliner were coming from south east Asia.The shop are great but they sugar coat the delivery expectations. Plus I was told that I would only get a discount if my suite was further delayed.I feel let down by SCS today. I brought the recliner to help my back. If I cancel now I lose my deposit and would probably have to wait another 5 to 6 months for replacements.I'm not going to do that.I feel that SCS need to improve on information regarding delivery. I'm shocked today given my order was in febuary that the parts are not with my furniture and completed yet. This is not the way to order parts. Why the delay on ordering? Yes we all know how it works. I regularly purchase items from Shien from the same area.Not good customer service SCS!I am very disappointed.Elizabeth Buck.

What can I say about this place? We spent 3 hours in here looking for a new sofa.They are open with covid 19 restrictions. From the moment we walked through the door we were made to feel very welcome by the fabulous John.He listened to what we wanted and needed and explained everything every step of the way.This store is large, lovely and clean and has a wide variety of stock. John by the way deserves a medal for putting up with us for 3 hours, well done John and thankyou. We will be back

Went into SCS Cribbs Causeway to find a sofa, Andrew was very polite and friendly. However the manager in this store was very rude and put us off buying. The manger said some rude comments and gave rude looks. But thank you Andrew for your lovely service and for helping us.

One of the worst retailers I have ever dealt with - avoid at all costs! Sent cowboy fitters who destroyed our carpet so it had to be replaced, smeared blood all over the walls and replacement took 6 months in total with the final fitting and product still poor. Quality of carpet is very poor. Despite all we went through no discount offered and the worst customer service. Save yourself the stress and false economy - go elsewhere!

I went into the shop to choose the carport l wanted and paid for it ,after a month nothing has been done l had to rang them they lost all the information about the carpet l choose . They told me to come back to the storeI had to go back to the shop to choose another carpet which was inconvenient waste my petrol cancel my work shift . They called me three times they cancel my appointments . I had to cancel my work shift three times . The person they sent after three appointments left mess in my house all the rugs the sheets in my house l had to hire a cleaner, is this how you treat the customers. The carpet man found my house nice and tidy not even a rubbish but the way he left my house l was so disappointed.

Lovely staff in shop at cribs in Bristol promised me delivery Jan 22 what load of rubbish (ordered sofa, chair and carpet Sept 21) Sadly delivery date to local warehouse was changed to Feb 27th which was ok but then 7/3/22 and now 14/3/22 still no sofa or chair !!!!! Thinking of having a refund told customer service this is the last date if not arrived by then I will cancel the order. Attitude was well I’d have to wait longer again at another store !! Explained that SCS service very poor once they have your money

Will never use them again, absolutely shocking service!!! Ordered a carpet 6 weeks ago, took the day off work to wait for fitter as they cant give you a time slot they come any time between 8-6pm. Got to 2pm with no call so phoned them to find out what was going on. Turns out they hadn't even ordered the carpet!! I was then told it would take another month to sort it out. My only saving grace was I managed to get my money back so I can use an alternative company.

Greeted at the door......no pressure but help offered.Masks and hand sanitiser available and used as per government guidelines.John 5 was the assistant with whom we dealt. He was very helpful and knowledgable, extremely patient with my husband and I, and nothing was too much trouble. We went over the same ground a couple of times, so that we could get our heads around the options.The final details were discussed with the store manager, who came to see if we were happy with the potential purchase and to ascertain we were well Informed , which we were. But it was a welcome opportunity to ensure and to reiterate all that we had been told by John 5. Great all round service.What started out as a chore, and a worry about working within our budget, ended with us leaving the store feeling confident and happy about our purchases .Recommended.

We have visited a few times over the last few weeks and spoke with John both times!He helped us a lot and made sure it was right for us.Provided me with a cup of tea whilst we went through the payment and delivery as-well which was lovely!I’d recommend this store specifically John if they can get him as he goes above and beyond to find what he can for you!
