Just 2 rooms but what more do you need. Very friendly host. Great views and close to hiking trails. Very quiet despite being close to the train tracks. The train runs seldom and you can’t hear it in the room. The rooms are generous, comfortable, and the bathrooms wonderful. The bathtub is very luxurious and one of the better showers I’ve had in a while.

My wife and I stayed four nights at Taldraeth two months ago. I am still thinking about our stay. I deliberately booked at Taldraeth in the village of Penrhyndeudraeth as I wanted our first Welsh experience to be genuine. I wanted to hear Welsh being spoke as the primary language. I wanted to eat traditional Welsh food and be a bit off the typical tourist track. I could not have made a better choice. Mirain (co-proprietor with her husband Geraint) was an excellent source of Welsh and village history. Her knowledge may be only surpassed by her excellent cooking. Every bite of every dish was wonderful.Diolch Mirain a Geraint.

I saw the photos of this place and read the reviews and thought it looked like a nice place for a relaxing weekend. This place exceeded my expectations by miles. It truly is star service and the room and bathroom are just stunning! The views are amazing.... From the bed and the bath! I cannot recommend this place enough. It was an easy 2 mile walk to Portmeirion. There is a spar, Indian, pub and Chinese take away a minutes walk away and a lovely pub 5 minute walk.

Beautiful family run B&B with a wonderful breakfast. Mirain is so welcoming and makes sure you have everything you need. Very close to Portmeirion which is why we originally chose to stay there, but went back a second time when visiting North Wales as it’s such a lovely place to stay

Situated conveniently just off the A487 Taldreath is easy to access, although the BnB it's self is quietly situated with lovely gardens and views.Family run and a very warm welcome. Tea/coffee and cake on arrival. The accomodation is a nice mix of traditional with modern functionality. Bedrooms are very comfy and well equipped. Bathrooms beautifully appointed. Great WiFi.Plenty of lovely, home cooked food. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. All in all a very relaxed enjoyable stay. Would definitely recommend.

This is a very well kept secret, save yourself the money of Portmerion and get a much better experience, upon arrival we were given homemade cakes and coffee something that I’ve never had before. The room was clean, large and well furnished with everything you could need from hairdryers to sanitary towels. Great location, great host 11/10

This B&B is located in a stunning house, where the beauty of ancient wooden furniture goes perfectly together with every modern commodity. My parter and I were welcomed by the lovely host with a cup of coffee and home made cake, we immediately felt so welcome. The location is absolutely gorgeous, the room where we stayed was big and comfortable, and the bathroom had a huge shower and heated mirrors. These are the characteristics of many hotels, however the little details is what made a huge difference for me. Not only the food was all home made ( the vegan muffins are a MUST, one of the the best muffins I’ve ever had ), but the breakfast menu had many vegan and vegetarian options, something quite rare for a small B&B. The room is provided with makeup swipes, feminine sanitary products, q-tips, two robes, and everything we could have possibly need - even a speaker! Also, if you wanna visit Portmeirion, the B&B is only 20 minutes walk from it and much cheaper than any accommodation there. I deeply recommend this place.
