Karuna Detox Retreat

Karuna has changed my life!!!!!! For the past 3 years I have been trying to find a glimmer of hope to get back on my health routine and feel like myself again after having a baby and for some reason nothing worked, I wasn’t motivated to move my body and I couldn’t stay consistent with any lifestyle change. I left Karuna a brand new woman and since coming back home I haven’t looked back. I feel a complete energy shift in myself that I can not explain. I now look forward to fuelling my body with health and moving my body every day and it’s showing :-). I’m a happy human and mother. Thank you Sho, Jo, Hayley and Theresa.

I booked a week juice/water fast to lose a few pounds and prove I could last a week without alcohol. What I actually experienced was a total body and mind workout and leave feeling full of optimism and energy. Sho and the team are just amazing and fellow guests soon become a close knit group and in some cases, lifetime friends. I would recommend Karuna Detox Retreat to anyone that wants some time out from day to day life and to press the body reset button. Accomodation at Newhouse Farm is also 5 Star and cannot fault in any way.

Life changing, A Gentle Breath of Air!Shoshana and the team are no word of a lie, miracle workers. Their informed guidance, support and help during fasting helps immensely. The morning yoga is amazing, Shoshana is wonderful teacher, and the meditation takes you to a different level in your head-space. The atmosphere which unfolds during your week, is nurturing, respectful and safe, you can participate as much or as little as you feel able to, confident knowing the team are there for you. The groups are supporting and I guarantee you will surprise yourself as we all did, how deep “the kindness of strangers” is and how you will bond and share. From the toughest of big men, to the young, the old, any size n shape. It’s a well needed breath of air, filling your lungs, body and mind with so much nourishment. An invigorating, eye-opening experience, you deserve and will be thankful for discovering and continue benefitting from, once you leave. Being a chef and business owner, coming to this retreat was a revelation, l didn’t know what to expect, but got much more than what l came for. An exceptional experience, in every aspect. The team and location are wonderful.The program enables each individual to get as much as they need, whilst being supported physically and emotionally throughout their personal journey.Yoga, mindfulness, meditation, educational talks, healing and traditional therapies are available and I highly recommend that you take advantage - as the quality is exceptional.I will be recommending to friends and family as the program really is transformational.
