Dr Richard Karoo

After years of thinking about having rhinoplasty I finally went ahead and booked consultations with a few plastic surgeons but Dr Karoo was the best one out there. Both him and his team are very welcoming and their communication with me throughout has been amazing. When I had my first consultation with Dr Karoo I felt at ease straight away and he tells you what he thinks would be best for you and he explains it incredibly well. Ever since I’ve had my surgery I have felt little to no pain and the results are amazing, I’ve had a lot of people say that they can’t even see or notice any scarring which is what Dr Karoo aims for. I can’t thank him enough as my confidence and happiness has improved a lot since the surgery and my recovery. I highly recommend Dr Karoo if you are wanting anything done as both him and his team are incredibly helpful and open to talk about anything and do not pass on any judgment whatsoever.

Mr Karoo is a genius in my opinion. Last year I had a tummy tuck and upper eyelid surgery and this year a facelift and breast reduction. The results have been quite incredible, very natural and with barely visible scarring. Mr Karoo will spend as much time with you as you need beforehand explaining the procedures and possible risks and he has a very warm, friendly and reassuring manner. The after-care is also exceptional with regular follow-ups and an invitation to return to see him any time should you have any concerns. His team of young ladies is lovely too and extremely efficient at responding to emails with any questions you may have. I feel very lucky indeed to have found this wonderful cosmetic surgeon and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him and his highly professional team.

Absolutely amazing surgeon. Initially had upper eyelid surgery which has produced amazing results. Recently had tummy tuck with lipo and again the results are amazing. Dr Karoo is such a lovely personable doctor who makes you feel welcome and at ease. He really cares about his work and his results are superb.

Had a rhinoplasty with Mr Karoo and went into it really nervous and not really knowing what to expect. I knew I was in good hands from the first meeting with him. He has such a welcoming and kind aura surrounding him. When it came to the actual surgery, I was so anxious and Mr Karoo knew exactly what to say to make me calm and he took good care of me while I was in the hospital. I am now 8 weeks post op and I couldn't be happier with the care I have received. He is really an amazing surgeon and I couldn’t recommend him enough. Thank you Mr Karoo :)

I couldn't be happier with my results. I had a rhinoplasty performed by Mr Karoo two months ago, and from my first consultation I was confident that I was in safe hands. He explained the procedure thoroughly so that I knew exactly what to expect in terms of the operation and recovery. After a cancelled operation due to covid-19, his team at The Cardiff Clinic were in regular contact with me to ensure that it was rescheduled as soon as possible at a date that was convenient to me. Having considered having it done for a long time, my only regret is not going to see Mr Karoo sooner.

Dr. Karoo and his whole team have been amazing from start to finish. I had a rhinoplasty with him and he made me feel relaxed and educated before having the surgery. On the day of my surgery he also visited me to discuss what would be happening and to put me at ease as well as the next day in recovery. I have had my post surgery check up with him as well which was a lovely experience as he is so enthusiastic and supportive. I am so pleased with my new nose and I'm not even 6 months post op. Honestly, it is so hard to find a trustworthy and talented surgeon who is also personable. I would recommend him and his team to anyone who was seeking cosmetic or necessary surgery because the whole experience has been a positive one!

Mr Karoo is in my opinion everything you’d want in a plastic surgeon. He has extensive experience, surgical skill and impeccable professionalism. I felt completely at ease and comfortable in his care and quickly felt as though I had known him a long time. I am now 6 weeks post opp and the results are incredible. Mr Karoo’s after care is also outstanding. If you are considering a procedure with Mr Karoo, do it - you won’t be disappointed.Zoey - Mr Karoo’s secretary has also made the experience great!!

This review is from my mother in law who has not got access to put a review up herself -I have recently had my 6 week post op check up with Mr Karoo, who has done excellent job. I had a Breast reduction and a Tummy tuck performed at the same time. Pre and Post appointments with Mr Karoo was always professional and friendly and I was given excellent information at all times. During my recovery Mr Karoo arranged several check-up appointments to ensure my recovery was going to plan. To say I’m extremely happy with the outcome is an understatement. I refer to Mr Karoo as my super hero. My daughter had a breast reduction with Mr Karoo back 3 months ago and again received the excellent care and skills of this surgeon. My daughter in law has always had a nose procedure with him over a year ago with excellent results. I would highly recommend Mr Karoo for any surgical procedures. One happy family, so a big thank you Mr Karoo.

Dr Karoo performed a lower blepharoplasty on both my eyes in July.I can not stress enough,if your considering eye surgery look no further.I did a lot of research on this and decided to go with Dr Karoo.From the initial talk with the lovely receptionist,and then meeting Dr Karoo was a fantastic experience. Dr Karoo,has what was called a brilliant bedside manner,you will feel comfortable, and feel great confidence in his approach, he will not push you into anything .The outcome?, fantastic, just fantastic.I am absolutely thrilled,it really is life changing for me.The only disappointment, is with myself,I should have done it many years ago.
