We visited again and found the food to be excellent. Decent value too.A unpretentious good quality restaurant.June 2023: On a rare night without children about, my wife and I decided to try Cedar".We were not disappointed. Sides and mains were very good and reasonably priced. We ate our fill and the bill came to just over £40.Lavatory was spotlessly clean also!Recommended."

Blown away by how good my lamb was. Note that this place is cash only but the prices are very very good for generous portions. Cannot recommend this place enough. 2 mains. 2 large falafels each, 2 large flat breads and 2 drinks cost us £29.50. Genuinely some of the best food I've ever eaten as well

Such lovely food. We went a bit crazy and ordered loads but it was nice to sample all. We also had mint tea and cardamom tea which was great and a nice change to the usual alcoholic drinks we would have at a meal

Service was non existent; it wasn't a busy night yet took almost 20 minutes for the server to take our order. Drinks and food order were taken at the same time. Throughout the meal, there was no check up to whether the food was to our satisfaction or if the group required any additional drinks.The starters were tasty but the mains were lackluster.The drinks section of the menu was unclear as to what certain drinks were. For example, a 'Lebanese Cocktail' which was actually a smoothie. A simple breakdown of ingredients would help inform a drinks choice. Or perhaps the server, if they were around, could have shed some light.The restaurant is cash only which I feel in this day and age is rather archaic.Our group concluded that they wouldn't return.

Visited here a few times now and always enjoy the simplicity of the food. Great Middle Eastern flavours and plenty on your plate. You can't leave here feeling hungry.Always nice to finish with a Lebanese coffee.They don't have an alcohol licence though, which some may think is a bad thing, personally it makes no difference to me.
