Great selection of HIFI equipment, knowledgeable staff and no hard sell. The demo room is comfortable, lots of great equipment to demo. I am looking forward to visiting the turntable museum when complete. A big thank you to Barry, Simon and the Team. They have helped me build the HIFi, which I have dreamt of for years!

A great place for Hi-Fi shopping, advice & repairs. I could spend hours here having demos & comparing systems. I have made many purchases here. The advice given has always been first-rate both before purchasing and afterwards with home set-up offered. I would recommend this place & I will no doubt make many other purchases there.

Staff were incredibly kind when I went in for a few RCA cables. I was prepared to pay for them however they insisted I take them for free. Store had a really nice environment and staff seemed really knowledgeable - would recommend.

Great knowledge and service.I have a 30 year old Pioneer power amp that was not powering up and other repairers either wouldn’t look at it or when they did were unable to fix the issue.Hi-Fi Sound we’re able to identify the issue, make the repair and my amp is now working perfectly.I therefore had a spare amplifier which was surplus to my needs and Hi-Fi Sound offered me a good price and I traded it against a Project Debut Carbon turntable that they delivered to my home themselves to save me the trouble of collecting it. The new turntable sounds amazing with my repaired amp. I’m very pleased with the services provided by this team!

Visited Simon for around an hour at his very well stocked shop today seeking advice about which cartridge would suit my needs. Simon could well be one of a hand full of truly knowledgeable and experienced turntable and associated equipment experts left in the world. Rather than push for an expensive sale he gently guided me towards a new old stock cartridge which was much cheaper than I was prepared to spend but this cartridge in his opinion fit the bill.On returning home and mounting the grado statement reference 1 cartridge I am delighted with it's sound and performance.Thanks very much Simon.

Went 7 weeks ago to purchase an ex demo acram sa30 but it had sold but as I turned to leave they found a immaculate second hand unit in stock with 3 months warranty.Given the condition and back story I took it at a good price, when I finally got round to setting it up the Dirac mic was missing unknown to me but was listed online as (without mic).Regardless of this which most companies would use as a reason to not replace it a lovely gentleman called Barry" who dealt with my partner sent a replacement through the post.When visiting I was very happy with them

Served by Stephen, top quality customer service. I purchased a stylus for my turntable and when I attached the stylus it was jumping and skating across my vinyl records. I telephoned Hifi Sound and was told to bring my turntable in the branch as could not advise over the phone. I attended Hifi Sound and was served by Stephen who rectified my issue and my turntable works perfect. Stephen made me feel at home, explained the issue and I received a top quality customer service from Stephen. Thank Stephen definitely will be returning.
