They have a fairly good selection of popular laptops from various price ranges. Prices are occasionally good. Staff can be good but often they don't have the knowledge or the motivation to offer valuable advice.

Wide range of tech, most of it overpriced though. Labels are frequently wrong (see pictures). Might be good to pop in to ask questions, but would buy elsewhere.

Currys is a great and well maintained tech shop, everything can be found here from Google home to printers, the deals are always great and if you don't know about something you can ask a member of staff and they will help you. All around great staff and a nice and slick interior. Buying products are also available for finance as well as part as you go.

Very helpful staff: took in laptop for keyboard repair/replacement. However, I wasn't aware of the address it was registered under, despite this the guy went through all the addresses I could remember. When the normal" search didn't work

Decided it was time to get my wife a new laptop as well as a first laptop/tablet for my daughter, we arrived at the Princess St store in Edinburgh and had a look at what was on display, after around 20mins of browsing my wife decided on a laptop and we were rather interested in a chromebook for my daughter, unfortunately most of the staff were congregated around each other having a good old chinwag, so my wife had to go herself and get one of the staff to help her as she had a few questions. The chap in question was in no way shape or form helpful, when he informed my wife that the laptop she was looking at was out of stock (despite being on display as, for sale) he shrugged his shoulders and said we will have to pay more for a similar one... which he did not know if he had in stock and then begrudgingly offered to look if any other stores had something in stock. The service was very unprofessional and the member of staff bordered on rudeness we did not bother asking about any thing for my daughter. The fact that we had to go looking for a member of staff in a retail outlet was rather surprising, (I have worked in retail for 10 years just to add) no staff were greeting members of the public as they entered the store or even acknowledging them, as they were all talking in a large group in the center of the store. There was only one female member of staff who was assisting a customer and answering questions, the whole experience was shocking for such a big name store. I purchased my wife her first laptop from one of your stores some years ago and the service was great so decided to come back to one of your stores again hoping for similar help, nothing of the sort it seems. The unhelpful staff member and rude demeanor meant that I walked out of your store without spending any of the £800 I had put aside for this day. Very unprofessional and a bad experience. We will not be back to this store again. I have also forwarded this on to Curry's customer services.

They have a lot of products to offer but their customer service is AWFUL. Me and my wife were trying to buy a TV but nobody helped us. I had to buy it online while we were in the shop. In another occasion we went back to buy a camera but two workers were fighting over to see who should help us. Luckily a young man was very helpful and friendly and helped us with what we were looking for.

Have decent deals and their computer components stock has improved over the past year. Maybe slightly overpriced in comparison to online for some things but it's convenient. Plenty of staff who are very friendly but often don't know much about anything technical.

Ordered and payed online with the intention of collecting in store, however never heard back from anyone and found it impossible to contact the store. Had to go into the store twice to find out where my product was. The next day delivery to the store ended up taking 6 days.

Obnoxious, unpleasant and all round unhelpful staff. Was told my laptop would be fixed by the next day, payed the £60 fixed fee for the repair and had no contact. Phoned the number given on their website to get an update about its progress and was unable to get one as the call operator could not get through to the store. Witnessed staff on their phones and even the man who served me was scrolling through fb as I explained the problem with my device to him. Avoid this store if possible and I highly recommend a review of the staff's customer service skills and workplace conduct. Seriously unprofessional and deeply disappointing and this is coming from someone who has worked in retail and understands the difficulties and annoying situations staff often deal with. Just not acceptable though!
