Wow!! Just visiting the area and fancied fish and chips so looked at the reviews for somewhere local. Always a bit sceptical when a place is constantly rated so highly but WOW. Probably the best fish and chips we’ve had. Super fast service. Very reasonably priced. Large portions. Perfectly cooked fish and chips. If you haven’t been, give them a visit. You won’t be disappointed.

Fab fish & chip place - unassuming, authentic, and lovely crispy fish which is tender inside. There was a 10-person queue when we arrived so the locals must love it! Chips are nice and fresh (no sogginess) and in general the place is a nice classic fish and chip takeaway.

Bottesford Fish and Chip Bar
Moved to the village in the last year and have to say this is an exceptional fish and chip shop! The food is always cooked to a great, consistent standard and, unlike some chippies, is not swimming in grease. Really recommend the haddock and chips (worth the small wait for the fresh taste of the fish!). Always a hit with the locals as I've rarely been there without seeing other people waiting to be served. Queuing times are never long. The staff are very friendly, polite and helpful too. Lastly, and a minor thing, good amounts of salt and vinegar too! Delighted to have this place on our doorstep and highly recommend a visit.

1st time I've been here and couldn't believe how busy it was. People were queuing out of the door and up the street and were so friendly. Several people told me that they travel from other villages and even from Grantham because the food is so good.Service was as quick as possible (2 people servin) though there were lots of big orders.They are CASH ONLY
