I want to say a big thank you to Carol @ Canine2companion for helping to transform our little Scamp from a fearful, reactive & selective hearing bunch of mischief into the dog he is today . When we started on this journey he would fear bark at the slightest unusual thing.. run away … not come back .. Had to be on long line if there was any chance of meeting another dog ( because once he got playing he DID NOT LISTEN)..Gradually we saw improvements.. often put it down to coincidence.. but today he’s been out with me and his dad. and he was an absolute dream …we met at least 6 dogs including 4 month puppy.. who he was very gentle with & 9 month playful boy who he had a race around with ..BUT .. came to us on being called when they were in full play mode!!.. also passed an off lead dog who made no attempt to interact and Scamp totally ignored him !!We’ve also had a little visitor this weekend on a sleepover.. a rather fearful snappy little chorky.. Scamp was SO patient and playful with him. We’re so proud of him and grateful to Canine2Companion for all the advice and tips over the last year.
