We had our kitchen and utility laid with brand new lino. The guys who came to lay it were friendly and seemed very professional. On first glance seemed to have done a cracking job.But after a closer look there are gaps of around 1mm around some of the skirting in the utility which I have had to tidy up with silicone. The one aluminium threshold between the kitchen and utility has already come free as it was one of those cheap self adhesive ones so that's been replaced and the lino around that doorway has been glued down as there was nothing to stop it from shifting.They have laid over a stone near our bathroom entrance which I've had to cut out, remove and reglue.The lino itself is already showing signs of deterioration after only two weeks with tiny parts of the top pattern lifting and revealing the white back ground, these are being glued back down as and when they appear.I also tipped the guys and then opened the front door to see a pile of rubbish on the drive which you'd have thought they could have taken with them.It just goes to show you really do get what you paid for!!Pretty dissatisfied with the outcome if I'm honest.
