I was so impressed with the service that Leverton & Sons provided for my nan’s funeral. They handled the entire process with care and compassion and nothing was too much trouble.Craig Parker was our Funeral Director and he was very helpful with explaining everything and responded to emails and queries very quickly. Even with the small things like making sure the music we wanted was the exact version, there was a real personal touch throughout.He ensured everything at the funeral was exactly as I requested and sorted a wonderful priest. The flower tributes in the Hearst were arranged so beautifully and Craig checked in with me throughout the funeral to make sure things were done how the family wanted and was great in guiding us throughout. Thank you very much for everything you did to help make sure the whole day was a beautiful tribute to my nan. I would highly recommend using Leverton & Sons.

Fantastic and sensitive service. Kathryn was extremely helpful from the very start of the process of making arrangements for my mum’s funeral, all the way through to the day of the service itself when she and her colleagues were so kind and respectful to my mum and all who were in attendance. Kathryn was able to put me in touch with a brilliant Celebrant who lead such a wonderful service.The costs are very reasonable and the communication from Kathryn at all stages of the process was outstanding. I spoke to someone called Julie Avery who was unsympathetic and unhelpful on the phone. I explained that my Dad's funeral needs to be held as soon as possible partly because my mum has lung cancer. I asked her to let me know which cemeteries nearby my parents that could do a funeral soon and what dates they can be available. I also asked her to make enquiries with a church near my parents home for a funeral service. Julie was unwilling to call up the cemeteries or the church to make enquiries and said it would take too many hours of her time. She seemed only interested in telling me the costs of the burial sites. I had already told her that the priority is in getting a burial done as soon as possible and that the pricing was not so important. I said to her if she is unwilling to provide the information required to enable my mum to make a decision then I would have to call another funeral director. Julie said OK and put the phone down on me. It is shocking to get such an awful response from a funeral Director. Nobody should have to endure such terrible service.
