Do NOT bid on this auction house ever. I made a mistake and I hope you guys won't make the same like me. This auction house will scam your money with their stupid policy. I have never ever experience such a disaster like this. I had bid and won an order for nearly GBP1000. Unfortunately, the shipment was lost in transit (which was created by the auction house). But nobody take responsibility for my lost money. They just blamed it on you with their policy. Now I lose both my winning lots and my money If you still want to bid on this auction house, be prepare for the worst customer service ever!!!!!

I had a piece to sell which was expected to attract interest overseas, and as such it needed international exposure. Potteries Auctions are subscribed to both The Saleroom and Easy Live Auction, helping engage a worldwide audience. My lot subsequently sold to an overseas buyer for a figure which was significantly above expectations. Professional service and communication at every step. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Potteries Auctions.

Excellent experience. Pros - Very helpful and polite staff. Reasonable in house shipping for most items. Great communication Cons - NONE. I made a purchase and upon delivery discovered that the lot in question was at variance with the description. I contacted them and was asked to return the item which I did. The issue was promptly and amicably resolved without a hitch; not once was I made to feel like 'a problem'. We are all human and an error can occur but how one deals with it is what matters and they sorted matters out like the best. I was made to feel valued and important throughout the interaction. I was refunded not only the amount I paid but return shipping as well, without having to ask which really shows how much they care about their clients. I would strongly consider consigning and buying from them in the future. Kudos!!

I have bought from this auction house for several years , both travelling up from Somerset to add to my collection and having items posted to me ,the latter with extreme care and at a reasonable price . They have ALWAYS offered a 6 star service and been extremely kind (even giving us a hot drink before our return journey ). The staff are delightful ,friendly and more than helpful . I cannot recommend them highly enough …and I’ve had some nice pots from them too !

Professional and Highly Efficient Auctioneers. I have bought from Potteries Auctions many times and ALWAYS receive First Class service both from admin staff and packers. Special mentions for Leah in the office, who is so brilliant to deal with, & Ed in packing, who does a fantastic job of packing fragile and difficult items. Postage is fast and reasonably priced and any queries are promptly resolved. Do not hesitate to buy from Potteries Auctions - Very Highly Recommended.

I have used Potteries Auctions many times in the past. I can honestly say they have to rank as one of the best. Enthusiastic, friendly and helpful staff, always willing to help or put you in touch with an expert that can. Nothing is too much trouble and the beauty of them is, compared to other auction houses, they're very grounded and not above themselves. Selling is easy and so is purchasing through any of the main bidding platforms, even their own . Sale days are well set out, easy to view and assistance is always on hand. P&P is a doddle to organise and very quick and efficient. I couldn't pick out any single member of staff but if I had to it would be all of them but Kath is the best :-)

Great service ***** Their in-house-packing is amazing. Received my fragile items (Lot 1486, auction F2307) very well packaged in Germany today. This is the second time I've bought there and I can highly recommend this auction house! Will definetely buy there again! :-))
