Snow + Rock Port Solent

I have had great service in the past from port silent snow and rock, one of their snowboard techs really knows their stuff and has helped me out a bunch with boots and advice in the past. Store is well stocked and nice products on show.However though not the local shops fault the wider snow and rock brand no longer offers true price matching. They will now only match from select retailers, I know as a fact this was not the case in the past as I have gone through the process before. They have also ditched all discount schemes for local members of sports clubs which I think is a real determent to the communities that have often supported them rather than buying through Amazon etc.

Used the Gait test and felt like the service was unique for me. I was not pressed into purchase even though they did not have the correct size and offset for me. Now ordered the most suitable trainer from their recommendation. Also using my vitality discount was easy.

Went upstairs to the Runners Needs part of the store. The staff are knowledge and really helpful. Free gait Analysis with my shoes and got them half price through Vitality. I will definitely recommend.

Spent ages walking around the shop to find something that was advertised on their Website only to be told they don't stock it.

Went to Runners Need for a gait analysis. Olly helped my friend and I. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and patient, giving us trainers to try on and analysing their support thoroughly. We both made purchases and were happy with the vitality discount! Overall a great experience, would recommend to all!

Lovely shops, bars & restaurants plus a cinema in an idyllic setting by the water. Plenty of parking and lots of disabled parking. A lift from the car park down to the shops.

The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Up to this time we have purchased a number of articles for family members which we have been pleased with. It was disappointing that this item failed so spectacularly. The saving grace was the failure occurred at home, and we were able to recover the situation. Had it occurred at the airport, or while the bag was in the baggage system, the outcome would have been far worse. It has knocked our confidence in the design, and manufacturing quality control of Snow and Rock products. The staff member who dealt with the return of the item, and who had been helpful enough to get a new one out of the stock room when we made our purchase, claimed that this was the first time he had seen such a failure, but I will be very wary of future purchases. I have indicated below that I will buy from you again, but will be more circumspect about the quality of what is on offer.

My wife and I needed to upgrade our running shoes that we had bought previously without any real thought. Chris at S&R took us through a Running Shoe Fitting / Gait Analysis assessment. Really pleased with the outcome and our new trainers that our specific to our running style and gait. First run last night went well, hopefully, this will help keep us on the road and injury free. Chris was very knowledgable and provided lots of feedback. Great free service, thanks.
