Felixstowe Museum
Having been round the Fort, this was a lovely addition, just 'next door'. Knowledgeable staff (all volunteers) who obviously love what they do. It's child friendly, with owls for them to find and they also have special events there, on occasion, for both children and adults. The cafe is adequate but you may have a little wait. There is also a small gift shop there. The lavatory is in another cafe building, a short walk away but is clean and has disabled access.Definitely recommend a visit, especially if going to the Fort.

Fantastic museum of loads of unexpected things too! It covers ww2, shipping, pirate radio, the 80's and much more! With very kind and knowledgeable volunteers. A great and important place to visit!!

Felixstowe Museum
A museum that many people miss, being tucked to the side of Languard Fort, which itself is at the end of a not too well signposted lane. But not go there, and you will miss out on a wonderfully informative experience, especially as the museum is now under new management and many exciting things are going on there. £4 brings you a good couple of hours of education, and if you are of a certain age, a whole host of memories. Plus they have a great café with homemade cakes.

What a great experience. We had a great time and our little one loved the model boats and plans. The retro room is so cool, happy to support these guys. Thanks again.

Really nice little museum that I was unaware of until now. Info on Felixstowe, the port and steamers, plus lots more. Very interesting. Only £4 entry. Right next to Landguard.

Fantastic museum, packed with lots of very interesting artifacts and photos. We walked, but use the 77 bus or car.

Small museum by the beach front and next to Felixstowe port. Good place to visit with family, kids enjoyed it as it had fun activities for them.Entry price is very reasonable. Parking is readily available

What a little gem this museum is, detailing various local topics and facts surrounding the port.Staff all very friendly and egar to talk and explain about any items or information you are unsure or would like more detail about.Lots of wartime memorabilia and a super 80s room that has lots of OMG do you remember those moments..Also the cafe was a real find, lots of lovely home made cakes and a decent choice of gluten free toasted sandwiches and cakes too..Allow a good hour to look around properly.Point to note, please use the public pay and display carpark do not directly out the front of the museum, my mistake..
