He has helped me frame some wonderful original and old posters, advised on oil restoration and has always provided second to none advice and council. His work is of a wonderful standard. Darcey & Dashwood has framed a couple of canvases for us now and I couldn't be happier. Nick employs traditional construction and finishing techniques that you simple won't find with other framing services. Framing is an art form in itself and Nick is a master!

We recently bought a print which needed a bespoke frame. We saw a frame on a similar print in a large gallery but they were unable to tell us where to buy a similar frame. We found Nick via Google and sent him a photo of the frame we were trying to find. He made up a corner sample for us to see. We took the print along to his workshop and were very happy with proposed frame and mount. It took Nick a couple of weeks to complete the frame and the result was stunning. We are so pleased with our bespoke frame. We can highly recommend Darcey and Dashwood to make a frame for any print or picture.

Hi I can thoroughly recommend Nick who offers a personal, informed and friendly service. My inherited family oil painting in a guilded plaster frame had suffered damage to several sections of the ornate frame. The picture was by an artist who lived in the late 1700s and though not particularly valuable was precious to the family. Nick has made a fantastic job of repairing/patching the plaster frame managing to blend in the old faded guilded colour and design. If you need similar work done Nick is your man to go to and sensibly priced too!

It’s hard to find a good, reliable framing shop these days, but I can highly recommend Nick at Darcey & Dashwood. Nick has framed several drawings which I’ve done for my clients, he’s a fellow creative with an excellent eye for detail and a great selection of frames. Anyone who needs artwork framed professionally should go and see Nick.

Simply fantastic work from Nick. His passion for his work and the skill executed are impressive to see. I had an antique mirror with a badly damaged plaster frame. Not only did he fix & beautifully finish the area we agreed on but he also took the care and time to touch up the rest of the mirror at no extra charge. Very impressed with the work and can highly recommend him for any frame restoration !
