Oaks Medical Centre

Referred by 111 to receive a call but the medical centre called a different number to the one provided. They then just classed it as missed appointment.There are some very real failings and limitations in their processes and protocols which results in a very poor duty of care.The actual medical support if and when you do see someone however is very professional and the doctors take time to ask questions and explain things to patients.

Too overloaded, called on a friday, waited 1 hour to be told no appointments, called again on monday waited another hour to be told no appointments.Waitinf from 8am till 9am each time just to to be told no isnt acceptable.The only other option is to pre book and the next slot is january 11th, by which time i could be dead.The only reason they get 2 stars is that my dovtor is fantastic when i actually get to see him, cant fault him.Unfortunately i will be contacting local mp about this shambles of a health service because something has to chnage

The worst Gp ever seen I normally don’t call unless it’s urgent maybe twice a year I do. Called in the morning after 45 minutes answered and telling me to go to walk in centre as no appointments left. How can I go and wait for not know how long there with a 2 yr old son with bad cold and fever with 38,5 temperature. ( did go to A&E after 5 hour wait husband was mad and came back home little one didn’t stopped crying)

Neat, clean,on appointment and very fast response from the staff no time wasting.

This surgery is a disgrace. I have been a patient here since birth and it has going down hill since I was in my teens. I have witness a Dr Sharjeel Siddiqui chase after an elderly lady into reception area and shout at her leaving the elderly lady in tears and the reception staff did not bother to comfort the lady of even stop Dr Siddiqui, it was another patient that stepped in. I myself have been victim of Dr Siddiqui's appalling medical standards when he told me I'm wasting NHS resources" it later turned out I needed surgery. Dr Ivan A Galea although not a neurology specialist has removed my mother of medication she was placed on by the neurology consultant

Never had any issues with this place. Yes it can be a pain to get through on the phone, but I tend to use the NHS app to contact doctors.

I have had a cough since March, I also have asthma..only telephone appointments? I have just gone online to book an appointment and this practice is now charging for treatments?? No appointments can be booked now..my last one 4 weeks ago was by private GP who quoted he was not answerable to the NHS? I will pay private but expect a cut in NI

The worst GP ever . Do not wast your time believe me. Visit Boris Jonson is easer than to get appointment and see doctor here. It was my GP for 3 years but never could get any appointment. Always excuse of COVID 19 . I changed my GP now I am very happy.

Near to impossible to get through in the morning, 7:59 managed to get through only to find out I’m 27th in the queue. How is that even possible, I’ve been trying to get through to my GP for a scan referral for past 5 weeks now

Awful practice, no one seems to know how to answer the phone. My little boy needed serious medical advice which turned out to be a trip to children’s A&E a day later… had this just been answered on the phone the first time he probably wouldn’t have had to stay in the hospital overnight with a cannula in his arm… putting both my partner and I and so much stress and worry. He was 12 weeks old at this point to add some context… Something needs to change with this practice, have more phone line users or have a live chat so we can actually speak to you… basic duty of care that isn’t being provided.
