Great guys, friendly, great cut, recommended

Been a few times now and a great shave and haircut both times, was offered coffee or tea aswell both times unlike previous reviews aswell so overall great service and friendly service

Most disappointing Turkish barber experience to date. Hard day at work, decided to treat myself to the shave and haircut service. Happy to pay the additional costs and tip the 15% too out of respect. However, immediately struck by the unfriendly nature of the barber. Disinterested, non friendly. Felt I was getting in his way of being paid. Looking forward to the head massage and ears/nose service of the shave package, but never got it, even though I was paying for it. One wash of hair, no after shave balm for burning skin post shave, fastest hair trim ever. In past offered coffee, nothing forthcoming this time. I’m not expecting the world and do accept they have a hard job being on their feet all day, but I do believe if you are willing to pay for the extra service, you should get what you are promised or at least be offered a welcoming customer service. This to me is the point of the Turkish Barber experience compared to a normal barber and why I’m content to pay the extra for it. It’s what elevates it above our minimal UK approach. Used the toilet whilst I was there, no soap or cleaning products there. Not convinced of hygiene practices there either. Sorry but after today I can no longer recommend this place. Save your money and go elsewhere or just get the basic trim there. Don’t waste your money on any of the other services offered. You’ll just be disappointed and left feeling awkward.
