All I can say is that if you are thinking of using Charles Newton as an Estate Agent then think carefully before you commit. We used them 8 years ago and were so impressed went back this time with no hesitation, what a disappointment! Absolute rubbish, we have ended up paying the £300 to get rid of them to go to another Agent who might actually try and sell our property. That said Cathy the valuer took excellent photos for our brochure and Andy was brilliant with the couple of viewings he did for us. As for the rest, well don't expect Lyn in the office to be polite and professional, never replied to emails and was very rude and offhand when we spoke on the phone. We had hassle with the For Sale sign, we had to push for a copy of the Contract which we finally received after six weeks and with an incorrect date on it. Queried this by email as usual no response. Also apart from RightMove and Zoopla very little or no other advertising not even in their window when I went today. As I say think carefully before you use them they have gone downhill since we last used them, we feel as though we have wasted 6 weeks.

I always expect to be waiting around when it comes to dealing with solicitors. I had been assured from other clients that Charles Newton were excellent. I went in with low expectations! All I can say is WOW!! Always returned my calls on the same day as promised. Emailed me back within hours.
