Boots

Can be expensive in comparison with places like Superdrug and sometimes there are better options in Superdrug than in Boots, which I found recently when looking for wound dressings. Some shaver replacement parts are also difficult to find eg foil cutters and these ARE expensive compared with online suppliers, which I have been forced to use when Boots have no stock. Their special offers can be very good though especially in conjunction with Boots Reward card points and offers.

I came into store today and I usually come to boots saint davids once a week. I have to say although your staff are fabulous, there was a member of staff today who went above and beyond for me! Julie K, you are an amazing asset to the store, you have the upmost best customer service skills and if there is any employee of the month I hope you get awarded for it! You helped me and I am very grateful.

Great lady called Vicky who served me yesterday on 30/4/23 was a lovely lady who went above and beyond her duty for me. Thank you Vicky. She was on the til in the chemist dept.

The goods are not complete, every order system is not good, there is a young cabinet sister really every face is very impatient

i love this boots because there’s something got everyone. boots has the best reward system. you get discounts always and there are loads of offers. 100 points is £1 and it’s so so easy to collect points. if you plan on shopping in boot you HAVE to download the boots rewards app because it’s honestly the best rewards system. you benefit so much!

I didn’t catch her name, but there was a young girl on the tills Tuesday afternoon. She was super helpful and had some great tips for battling the oily skin during the summer!

If I could, I would give a lower star for the appalling service we received today in store at the pharmacy dept.I booked an appointment at this store, for my sons travel injections, and unfortunately with it being half term, we had major problems parking!I quickly rang the pharmacy dept to tell them this, they said as long as we got there for 1pm we would be still ok for the appointment. Anyway we got there a min before 1 o’clock, and was told we couldn’t be seen, as we were late!I argued it wasn’t 1pm yet? I pointed out the massive clock above them, that clearly said the same, we were there just before 1pm!!!!The pharmacist couldn’t be bothered to wait for us, and sent us away!Not happy wasn’t the word.Stuff you Boots, we have taken our money elsewhere.We have taken our custom to Nomad Travel, who were more than happy to help. We definitely won’t be recommending your services to other pupils that will need the same vaccinations, which will cost hundreds of pounds.The pharmacist there obviously doesn’t know how to tell the time, either that or she was being difficult for the sake of it!

You may need to know the high street prices in other Chemists as Boots is dominating the market with cost of living increases on all products.

Jointly owned by Walgreens in the USA , Boots is quite expensive in comparison with Superdrug, both having reward cards. Interestingly enough, the 2 competitors in the USA are Walgreens and CVS.CVS, which is the cheapest and offers better products, too, in my opinion. Maybe irrelevant to most people over in UK but is a pointer to the way things are heading, as Superdrug offer products I would prefer.
