The Ivanhoe Hotel
Been in a few times in the past 6 months and still a great pub. Beer is always lovely (Double Four) and they’ve done a really good job of the renovation.Only complaint would be the current landlady (Sue?) comes across as very frosty, overheard some comments about customers that weren’t particularly nice!Update - New landlord and landlady are great! The pub is really clean and they are a lovely young couple, great atmosphere and feels like The Ivanhoe of old

So relaxing after a two and halfHours walking to get there wellWorth the effort.Good pint loads of local peopleKnown them for many years.Lots of natter taxi back ,Try it the Trans Pen WayCons viaduct, Don Towpath,Off after Rainbow Bridge.So many paths you can take from this area great to exploreYou won't be disappointed.Good luckStay safe.G,A,S.

Good beer, friendly atmosphere and, unusually, a three quarter size snooker table as well as standard pool table.The most unusual thing however is a cricket ground in its own back garden. I kid you not. They also serve food, which I haven't tried yet. Excellent place.

The Ivanhoe Hotel
The food is gorgeous. Ate here a few times since then started and haven't had a complaint. The beer is good now. And the addition of the darts board is a very good idea. Andy and Fiona are great and helpful. Would highly recommend the food or even just a drink :-)

The Ivanhoe Hotel
Had a pint whilst watching cricket so location is pretty good but honestly there is no atmosphere and you feel like your intruding.
