I recently found myself in the middle of a very sensitive child arrangement case in relation to my children, and Gillie was able to provide me with legal advice throughout the whole process from start to finish.This was one of the most stressful times I have ever faced, and Gillie really made me feel at ease throughout.Gillie kindly put together a letter addressing the court/judge explaining my position in great detail, and this was really important as it was very clear to all what my stance was on the matter. (This also meant my initial hearing was less daunting, as the judge and all the information he needed before hand)There were many times my anxiety got the better of me and Gillie reassured me each time, whilst also reminding me where I stood from a legal stand point.Thankfully, the outcome was better than I could have hoped for, and although I do hope I will not be faced with navigating the family court again. I am confident if this matter does arise in the future, that Gillie and her team will provide their expertise again.I really cannot thank Gillie enough for all that hard work over the past few months, our life was on pause – but we can now carry on as normal.

Very disappointing experience. At the time when one at their lowest I experienced the unsympathetic and blaming attitude. What’s important you will pay £300 for a so called “consultation” where you will not get any advice at all, just diluting at times misleading information, which will confuse you even more. And the last half an hour of your appointment will be spent on typing an email to YOU in your presence, stating that they had an extended consultation with you and explained everything to you. I left the appointment deeply confused and hurt. Furthermore, I do not understand at what point they actually start doing their job for you - the lady told me to make phone calls and find out the information myself. Literally it felt like they charged £300 to purely sit with you and make you feel miserable (not even exaggerating). I went to a different solicitor down the street and received a real proper consultation with all the bureaucracy done online beforehand and for MUCH cheaper. I am seeking advice and will be looking to complain about this particular solicitor further. The treatment was absolutely unacceptable. The practice is way out of date and ran poorly. Please avoid them under any circumstances.
