Excellent service in terms of advice on the right chair for me and the best fabric for intensive and long wear. Order was received earlier than forecast and delivery was prompt and again service was great.

First order was damaged and took months to arrive. Second attempt didn't have correct lengths. 10 months later and still not got job completed. Last attempt, guy turned up without correct tools and no spirit level to measure correctly. We now have pole that doesn't fit and needs correcting. Also one attempt - they bent the pole to make length correct. Really disappointing experience so would not recommend. When complained they just refused to come back and complete job. We now have damaged woodwork and also.

I love this store, they've fitted my new flat with new curtains and the processes was great from the moment i call, to coming and do the measures and up to the day they came and fit them.the staff is helpful, and really go the extra mile, totally will use there services again and recommend them to family and friends.

UPDATE AT THE BOTTOMWe are looking to get flooring done throughout the entire house so I went in to ask about options and to get a quote. I was looking for LVT specifically, and the lady told me they stock Amore and said I could look at the selection in the shop window if I wanted. She didn't offer to show me the samples or talk me through the options, and didn't seem to know they stocked other LVT brands. I would expect sales staff to be helpful, and knowledgeable about their products, so this was very off-putting. You'd also think sales staff would be helpful if someone mentioned they are moving to a new house, because the customer might need other services and products, such as curtains and rugs. Oh well. I still asked if I should email them to get a quote or how that works, and she said email would be fine, but didn't give me their email address or a business card.UPDATE: Hi Norman, I appreciate your apology and response to my review. I decided to get in touch with the store again to arrange for a quote. I have now waited for over a week and haven't heard back. If there is a communication issue, it's not on my end. The other businesses I contacted at the same time all got back to me.

Thanks for fixing our old cane chair and the flexibility with dropping off very early in the morning.

We purchased vinyl flooring for our hall, dining room, kitchen and toilet from Erskine`s. We would like to point out that Sean Nunes was extremely helpful with regard to giving advice on the vinyl and organising fitters. However, when we asked Sean how we should clean the vinyl he told us NOT to use a MOP but to use a STEAM CLEANER. However, when we looked up Tarkett they asvised DO NOT USE A STEAM CLEANER but to use a micro fibre mop since a steam cleaner will de laminate the vinyl and soften the top layer thus decreasing the longevity of the vinyl.Of course, perhaps that is was Erskine`s would like to happen!A star was deducted for the incorrect after care advice we were given about cleaning the £2,000 worth of vinyl we purchased from Erskines!!

We would like to say that we used James Erskine Interiors and found them to be knowledgeable and very helpful. They gave friendly, accurate and useful advice in connection with our curtains and the job was carried out on time and very professionally. We would have no hesitation in recommending them.
