Lovely pub. I'd have liked to have stayed longer.....but the rain was coming and we had cycled there. Nice and cosy and a good pint.

Ignore the 1 star Google ( how did that get there?) review when anyone who has been in knows it's a 5 star, with consistently good beers, fine wines and spirits run by the amazing Caitlin, which adds up to a warm welcoming pub where you with feel at home and not want to leave. Add the roaring log fire and stay a bit longer!

Absolute magic. The bar staff were friendly and cheerful.They interacted with the children in our group , and made them feel welcome.Lovely cobs, however some just cheese cobs would have been welcomed for those who didn't eat meat.Would definitely go again.

Great pub. Went to listen the live music - that they host on the last Sunday of the month. The pub was packed and the service was still quick.
