Food is abysmal here, amongst the food we ordered, we had a side salad, which consisted of raw kale and sliced tomato. A friend had a burger that contained raw kale - the chef and the waiting staff can't tell the difference between lettuce and kale. The hummus was just mashed chickpeas and had zero flavour. The fries looked like they had been recooked multiple times, tasted stale and were hard with oil. The waitress was apologetic, but we only offered a discount of 10% along with not being charged for the salad and hummus. My advice, don't eat here under any circumstances. Find an alternative

Just popped in for lunch. Great menu and good prices. Had the steak pie which was delicious. The views were fabulous even on a rainy day. Great local vibe about the place. Would definitely return.

Been here around 5 times now for lunch. Each time has been fantastic. Great menu and venue. I have had a variety of sandwiches and soup. All you can tell are freshly made and made with care. Service is great and friendly and the pub itself is beautifully made out. Can't fault it and will keep coming back!

Recommend avoiding this place, got cabbage in place of lettuce on a burger and a salad consisting of cabbage and tomatoes. Staff didn't seem to understand the complaint. Also had 'lemon and coriander' hummus which literally tasted like water. Hard to believe this is the same ownership as the Cardross Inn.

Extremely helpful and polite service. Food was excellent on all counts. The steak pie was delicious and would have fed two no problems. Lovely atmosphere, warm, clean and chatty.Highly recomend

Went for a last minute dinner. Staff were very helpful and found us a table in this little traditional pub. Good atmosphere in the place and a proper small community pub. Unfortunately the food did not match the expectations. The burger I ordered was ok to be honest but the steak pie was awful. The meat chunks were barely cooked and very tough and there was no gravy to speak of. We did return it and the staff were apologetic and removed it from the bill. Would defo go here for a drink but may skip the food. Sorry

Booked a birthday dinner with family here, whilst staying a night in Helensburgh en route to Fort William. It was lovely. The pub has been done up very nicely for 2023 (if I dare say it, London standard!), but still in keeping with being on the Clyde. The publican clearly has hospitality experience (great sense of humour :) and made us feel very welcome. The food was also ‘gastropub’ standard, and surprisingly accommodating to a gluten intolerance. The new owners are on to something. Cannot recommend enough!

Our hotel nearby was overwhelmed, so we came here for dinner and the staff welcomed us. Good drinks, great food, cozy atmosphere, friendly staff!
