Our experience with RR started out fine until we came to vacate the property. We did this earlier than the date we needed to and had cleaned the whole house. We met the estate agent there at the agreed time although she was 20 minutes late and we had to ring the office to check she was still attending.We walked around with her whilst she commented on the excellent condition of the property. All was put back to as it had been when we took it on. We mentioned that the bins would need to be put out - we would have done so but we were handing over on a Friday and the collection wasn't until Monday. She thanked us for making her aware.All appliances in the kitchen were checked and we were told everything was great and we could leave then whilst the final meter readings were checked. We were advised before we left that the process of returning the deposit would begin that afternoon and we should have it within a couple of days.At this point we thought it was a good experience.The beginning of the following week however, after chasing, we received the email with the meter readings but were also told we needed to pay for the oven to be professionally cleaned and that the bins needed to be emptied! We reiterated about the previous conversation about them being put out and that it had been confirmed that the property was in good order and the full deposit was to be returned and have sent numerous emails since as well as many phone calls but no one is responding.They still have our deposit if over £1000 and we are very concerned as they will not speak to us. They have moved new clients into the house so we know they are making money from it whilst keeping ours.On reflection, I would say to a potential customer that their approach is disingenuous and untrustworthy based on this experience.

First Class service from Rachel and the team at Reid & Roberts from start to finish. Rachel was responsive, knowledgeable, friendly and a pleasure to deal with. She took away the stress from a stressful event!! I would definitely recommend Reid & Roberts.

Myself and my partner had a fantastic experience with this estate agents. They were constantly in touch with updates for us. They went above and beyond when there was a problem with some paperwork to help get the situation resolved.
