Severn Beach is nothing more than a small town, however it does have a fantastic walk along the River Severn sea wall. This forms part of the Severn Way. There is also a cafe. A lovely walk and fresh air.

My wife and I visited here a week ago - right after we indulged ourselves with lunch, we walked all the way along the pathway under the bridge, almost as far as The Pill (I refer to what's known shown on Google Maps).Walking under the Prince of Wales Bridge made for good photographing. See attached pics, and a panoramic shot where I managed to fit in two bridges in the same pic!

The town has a long stretch beach, which is perfect for sunbathing and walking. One of the main attractions of Severn Beach is the Severn Bridge. The bridge is a suspension bridge that spans the River Severn. It is the longest suspension bridge in the United Kingdom and one of the most iconic landmarks in the Bristol area. The Beach is also a popular spot for birdwatching. The town is located on the edge of the Severn Estuary, which is a major bird migration route. During the spring and autumn, thousands of birds can be seen flying overhead.

Lovely wide flat walk nice green area that would be lovely to sit on in summer, nice little cafes and a local baker in the town. Lovely views of the bridges over the severn and down into devon, and of course across the river to wales.

Was very quiet here, that’s a positive. You can sit by the mud. Just nothing really else there! There’s one cafe and one shop, that’s it. Lots of rocks to climb on if that takes your fancy. My daughter enjoyed throwing stones in the vast amounts of mud.
