A Cut Above
Very happy with my hair cut. Second time I've been and the staff are very nice and friendly. I've given 4 as it was a little pricey at 22 quid for mostly clippers and a bit of scissors on top. However, I was very happy with the result. The water in the spray bottles was pretty cold! Maybe leave them on a radiator or something!

It is slightly more expensive than other barber shops and you don't get better service. I felt my haircut was rushed and lasted about 10 mins and was nothing what I asked for. I was quite disappointed to be honest.

A Cut Above
Some weeks ago I had my first poor haircut after 20+ years of going. Even so, I arranged to go again but this time I booked ahead to be cut by Alex. I turn up at my booked time only to be told that Alex is not in. Sadly I hadn't been advised even though they had my mobile number. Not good.

I’m very fussy with my hair and have recently changed barbers so I was a little worried about finding a new one. I had no reason to be worried! Alex who cut my hair was brilliant, all the staff are friendly, they don’t rush, they chat with you, they listen to what you want… I would recommend!

If I could give a 0 I would. They refused to cut my fiancés her because she’s a woman even though she has hair short enough to be cut there. Been to other barbers in Oxford who have been amazing but absolutely appalled by this places discrimination.

Just took my son for a hair cut at a cut above he has autism and doesn’t really like his hair being cut. Today he said I like the hairdresser she took her time and I will definitely be going again. So happy that after years of trying he’s found a hairdressers he is happy with thank you.

Quality varies hugely between barbers. I came here a few weeks ago and have been eagerly waiting for my hair to grow out as it was shaved too high at the back, friends admitted it looked weird and also too high over the ears. The cut was as bad as I have ever had. The time before this was better but the barber shaved too high at the side in one section leaving it uneven. The clippers and scissors also tug at the hair as they seem to be blunt and the cutting area and implements didn't look like they get cleaned very often.

Took my step-son here for a hair cut before the beginning of term. The barber listened to exactly what he wanted and he was very pleased with the results. Great value for money and very friendly staff. Will be coming back.

Only place I get my haircut :). Thanks Alex!. its better to prebook an appointment because it can become a little busy being the best barbers in town. always friendly and chatty.
