the West Brom - West Bromwich Building Society

Absolutely a joke ! No other branch is like this only go once ina blue moon if shopping there.Literally letting them keep the £18 in a acc & closed the other 2 accounts today ! Telling me I need to make an appointment just to sort out a acc! Trainee Took 25 min to sort out a acc then another one but I waited. Got so frustrated when told come back another day to sort out the other 3rd that I l went online & changed my payments to Hsbc that go here in here! Told them to close my acc & said keep the book too. Honestly PERRYBAR BRANCH IS SO BAD UNBELIEVABLE! Close it down cz the customer obviously doesn’t matter ! U lost a 16 yr customer with 3 acc today cz they couldn’t be bothered! Regret going here today but all done!

This must be the slowest branch ever. They are slow at processing, usually no more than 1 cashier and when you speak to older male manager, he's always got some feeble excuse. Not great when you look across the way and see how efficient they are at Natwest.

No good workers THEY TAKE AGE'S TO CALL YOU. I opened My account here more than 10 year's ago but they still don't recognize me. For withdrawal of money They want My ID THEY THINK I AM A FRAUD DON'T EVEN DESERVE A STAR.

To be honest I think It might be harsh giving 2/5 stars but let me explain. Usually the wait is no more than 5-10mins however every time I want to take out over £500 pounds I need to give at least 24hours notice. What nonsense! I own the money and should have a say when I want it. Furthermore if I withdraw over £1000 the cashier is very nosey and asks where I will spend the money. Can I just confirm this is the case all the time. What is it to you where I shall spend it? It's my money and I will spend it on what I like. What really gets under my skin further, there is a cashier there who talks Soo much I feel like I need a paracetamol after I visit this branch! God help me!

Absolute waste of time! I have had a bad experience in the last 3/4 visits to this branch. Most recently the cashier didn’t have enough change to give me the exact the withdrawal amount I needed and it’s supposed to be a building society supposedly handling cash in a daily basis. Furthermore they expect you to provide notice to withdraw more than £500 of your own funds and get interrogated about why you need the funds!seriously thinking about moving to another building society! Too much effort at the moment dealing with West Brom!!

By far the worst branch. The cashier has not left a good impression, surely there’s a certain standard that should be reached? Very disappointed - will stick to my usual branch.

I use this branch regularly Every time I walk in the asian girl at counter starts to laugh seems find things funny I don't find it amusing it's unprofessional and pathetic she needs to grow up never had a problem with the West Bromwich branch all professionals If it carries on I can find my business else's where if that's the case
