The Manor Hotel Datchet

This isn't a hotel but a refuge for the homeless . Whilst helping people who are less well off is a great cause the owners refuse to take responsibility for their guests and the impact they have on the surrounding community. There's been a huge increase in anti social behaviour (screaming and fights), smashed glass and crime since this scheme started. The owners refuse to work with the village.

Clean and comfortable room. Was placed in the 'annex' across the road which was fine but....1. It's close to the rail station.2. It's on the Heathrow flight path3. Our neighbours decided to be nice and noisy and I had to knock on their door at 2.30am!None of this is the hotel's fault of course, but clouded our stay.

A very comfortable stay, food good, helpful staff and very well appointed and comfortable public bar and hotel public areas. Bedroom access corridors have definitely been sacrificed from the decoration budget though. Great rain type shower however it is missing a hand shower attachment for those who don't want to get their hair wet. Also, they didn't provide any spoons or sticks with the tea making kit?? Interesting cost saving measure

My stay is wonderful. The people at the reception centre were so kind after I escaped from the sinking boat. It took only 4 hours to get from the drop off at Dover to moving in here. The wifi is a bit rubbish and the meals are basic, but I am in England, my new home and I have not had to pay any money. What could be better ? Join me, in Windsor soon, my friends.

To be honest, The hotel does the job as it should. Check in was quick and simple, there is a free car park and the train station with links to central London and Windsor is next door.So, the bedsheets are pretty bad and the pillows too soft, but for the price you can’t exactly expect a luxury hotel.Staff was super lovely and the roomHad all the good amenities (working AC, hygiene goodies, tea and coffee etc.We stayed for one night and have no complaints

Hello. I just wanted to leave this comment to thank the lady on duty at the reception on New Years Eve today. My family and I had been running around trying to find a printout service in town for our covid negative tests result printout in order to be able to check in for our flight this evening. Unfortunately all shops were closed today but this lady had the kindness in her heart to help us out by printing out our documents even though we were not customers at the hotel. She refused to take any payment from us and she was so gracious and helpful that we just had to say thank you again. We do not know your name, but the world is a better place for people like you. Thank you.

This place houses asylum seekers, yet many locals getting in and out for their own good. They have money or give false hope for temptation. I like the setting and merged with community. However, locals don't like the shelter. I got bad reputation on day one looking for ATM machine, asking the store if they had ATM in their shop. He thought he was going to be robbed.Stuff left in the room will be gone and return on their own. Is it my fault? It ranges from bottle lid to commodity.

Needed an overnight stay in the area and went for the Manor House purely on price.Check in was very friendly and quick, the corridors were a bit dark and dingy with tired carpets.However, the room, although small, was well appointed with all the facilities one needed for a nights stay.We had a drink at the bar before going out, the seating areas were comfortable and well furnished.On return sleep came slowly due to neighbors having a domestic until 02:30 not the fault of the hotel, of course.Overall, not a 4 or 5 star establishment, but a good, solid three.

Worst night's sleep ever. The room was over a thinly-clad boiler room, with an industrial refrigerator next door. I accept it's the extreme budget range of available hotels (£62), but no breakfast served, and a tired and dated sad place.

My wife and I booked this hotel as it was the most reasonable priced one.The staff are really friendly and accommodating. From the check in to check out they were fantastic!The rooms and the facilities are perfect!The location is amazing! Literally everything you need is in this village. Train station is right behind the hotel and you can't hear any trains!I Would definitely recommend staying here.
