Pitt Farm Holiday Cottages

Just returned back from a week at Pitt Farm Holiday Cottages. We stayed in Pelham and were a family of 10 adults and 2 kids (1 and 3). Cottage was really well equipped with everything we needed (especially great for little ones with stair gates, high chairs, bed rails as needed etc etc) and whole site is really well kept and maintained with lots of bits to do and explore (have a good look at the site map). Pool was brilliant and booking system worked really well so you have sole use. Lots of other lovely touches like the pastries to order ready for you to collect in the morning! Thanks Laura and Richard for a lovely stay.

Beautiful cottage; clean and well presented. Richard and Laura are friendly and approachable (even helped when my glasses frame had shattered). There is plenty for the children to do and explore on the farm, the pool was a huge hit too.My eldest (3 years old) said that he loved his holiday cottage and when asked his best bit he said he loved it all and wanted to come again.

We had the most amazing time at Pitt farm.Everything was just perfect. Cottages are beautiful - outside and inside. Very spacious and so well equipped. Including even several books and board games which was such a nice touch !We loved the swimming pool (kids couldn’t get enough of it, the pool size was really good too), Animal feeding was an absolute hit, tennis court, playground, the cutest farm shop, zip wires! funnily enough I thought my kids might be too big for this type of holiday - and I couldn’t be more wrong. They still name it in top 3 holiday places we have ever been to.We visited a few nearby beautiful towns, seaside, did some crabbing and still run out of time to do all we wanted, you just can’t get bored in this area, so much to see.Laura and Richard are full of info and gave us helpful advice on local gems to visit - absolutely perfect hosts; extremely nice and so professional.I loved the guide book they prepared which was available in our cottage - with all the info you might need - def worth studying!If you book your holiday there - you won’t be disappointed !

Fantastic place for a family holiday, Laura and Richard are so welcoming and northing is too much trouble. The facilities for children are so good- trampoline, games, woods, animals to look after. The highlights for us were swimming, one of the children learnt to swim while we there and picking blackberries to make pies. The accommodation is perfect and the area has great countryside and wonderful beaches- superb!

Great stay at Pitt Farm - plenty of on site activities and local activities to keep two small children entertained and thoroughly ready for a good nights sleep! Both children also very much enjoyed feeding the animals in the morning! Would highly recommend.

Fantastic location and facilities.Just spent 6 nights in Kimblewick with 3 generations of family. Our grandchildren, 2 & 4 loved the playground, especially the trampoline!And feeding the animals each morning with Laura, ducks, pigs, chickens and alapacas!Accomodation first class, definately 4 star gold.The honesty shop was well stocked, fresh pastries in the morning were still warm.Hosts Laura and Richard very helpful and nothing too much trouble. We can highly recommend a stay here.

We were looking for a venue for a small family gathering of 20 people (ages 18 - 80 year) and found the perfect venue at Pitt Farm Holiday Cottages.We booked 2 properties, Pelham sleeping 12 and Kimblewick sleeping 9 and we were not disappointed. The properties were spotlessly clean, had great facilities and everything we needed for our stay.The setting itself is perfect in the heart of Devon’s beautiful countryside and had great view. The amenities on site were perfect for us, feeding animals, tennis court, table tennis, zip line, swimming pool and plenty of places to sit, catch-up and unwind.Laura was extremely helpful and friendly and really made our stay.We would highly recommend Pitt farm for all group sizes and ages. We will definitely be returning.

We had a wonderful family stay at Pitt Farm. Laura and Richard are exactly what you'd hope for in hosts - incredibly welcoming, friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to make your visit a fun and comfortable one. Our kids (7yr old and 5 yr old) loved feeding the animals every morning (especially the alpacas and their new favourite chicken, fluffy orange!) and visiting them each evening. The facilities are exactly what you could want for a trip away with kids - the pool was a great size and temperature, the games and sport facilities were very well maintained and there were lots of climbing frames and woodland areas to explore.For the adults, the cottages are well maintained and there are some nice outdoor spaces for BBQs and eating outside. Everything is very clean and all the facilities and logistics like parking is well thought through. Best of all though is the location - hidden down a single track (like many places in South Devon!), it's set in gorgeous countryside and very relaxed and peaceful. Yet you're also only a short drive from some of the best beaches in the country. We loved visiting South Milton Sands, Bantham and Bigbury in particular, and you're also only 20 minutes from Dartmouth, where the kids loved going crabbing and trying new ice cream flavours.All in all, our week at Pitt Farm flew by and we're already excited to return. We'd thoroughly recommend it to any family looking for a beach holiday with some added fun around the edges.

We have just returned from a lovely family holiday at Pitt Farm Cottages. Pelham Cottage was a beautiful and well equipped space that easily and comfortably fitted the nine of us. The pool was used daily…sometimes twice and again was a fabulous space. We hope to make a return visit and would recommend.

Wow, what a place! This was a holiday we really needed and it couldn't have been more perfect. It started with the amazing online welcome pack we were sent beforehand which told us absolutely everything we could possibly need to know... to the thoughtful welcome gift on our arrival and milk in the fridge. Laura & Richard are amazing hosts. So friendly and easy to communicate with, you can see the love they put into this place. We loved the playground, tennis courts, trampoline.. and my youngest absolutely loved meeting Laura to feed the animals in the morning. The little shop had all sorts of thoughtful things in it and the crossiants we picked up fresh every morning were lovely. The swimming pool is amazing too. The beds are so comfortable, I even slept well the first night which I never do somewhere new. Comfy beds, comfy sofas.. and the kitchen has everything you could need. The thought put into Pitt Farm is wonderful, it is a beautiful place and we will definitely be back.
