Tony Stanger Self Drive

Pleasure to deal with. I recently moved house and used Tony stranger self drive. I picked the van up at advised time completed the paperwork for hire use of the vehicle and off I went completed my house move and returned the vehicle. No issues no problems price was Fantastic. Highly recommended.

Brilliant service. Attended the address at agreed time. Showed my drivers license. Signed the form to hire the vehicle for 24 hours. Jumped in the van and off I went. Very impressed with the van, not to old, good condition and drove nice.Heard many bad stories about hire companies refusing to give deposits back or other stuff because they alleged you caused damage that was already there. None of that with Tony Stanger self drive. Completely hassle free. Will 100% use again and will recommend to friends and family. A*

Not sure what the bad reviews are about because in my experience this is one of the best rental firms iv dealt with. Lovely lady who helped me out was polite and helpfull on the phone and exactly the same when I arrived. I was driving away in one of they're vans within 10 minutes of arriving.

I can only share my experienceI’m a local small business and own avan, to save the manual labour loading and unloading I called this company as I wanted a tail lift van and a few bits of information and to clarify -- Collection point as the google address and website address was different, apparently paperwork at one place collect from a few miles down the road- Documents needed, only licence- Was told cash only so I asked if they could do a receipt and if they were VAT registered- Told the lady I need van a couple of times a month to collect stock 2 x 300kg palletsVery rude lady told me she doesn’t like me asking so many questions and told me to go somewhere else to hire, she added last time someone hired their van and put heavy items in it snapped…I have been driving vans for 20+ years never had one snap on meAnyways wish these luck, I’m hoping this was a one off but reading the reviews gives me the impression this company doesn’t respect their customers£15 more got a brand new van from Enterprise hopefully this wont be a cut and shunt and snap on me with 600kg in the back….

Fantastic service, called these people last minute as I purchased a large tv and underestimated the size of bloody thing.The lady was very friendly and understanding with my predicament and had a Luton van available that suited my needs within a short time period.Great value and swift with the paperwork before I knew it I was driving away. Great family business highly recommended.

Hired a van very last minute to collect a motorcycle from Kent, vehicle was top-notch condition, customer service from the guy I dealt with was great, friendly, good to talk to & no nonsense, couldn’t ask for more. Will without a doubt be using these guys again, Highly, highly recommend them. 5 star.
