Aston University

I visited Aston University for 3 months and I really enjoyed it. The people are very nice and friendly. It has an international atmosphere. Lecturers are very good. The campus is beautiful, especially the lake and the birds. The location of university is great, it's close to city centre.

When I visited this place, I thought it was all Owned by Unite students. Later saw that property and campus area was good enough.

Completed my final exam of the law degree last week and the overall teaching has been quite good, especially from Adam Shaw Mellors, who made commercial law an interesting module despite how arduous it sounds. Heres my honest review after three years.Pros:Decent library, cant go wrongTheres a greggs localLots of empty rooms good for prayerLaw courts are a 5 minute walkCons:The SU is full of mostly idiots who blast freshy music. Went there once for a game of snooker, never went again.The vending machine sometimes robs you.The lifts are rammed.Parking is practically non-existent.It costs like £1 for a small pack of Extra.Can't eat a burger meal in the library [Got shouted at on my first day lol].So would i recommend Aston uni despite getting robbed by the vending machine?YES.

Nice, clean and functional with a contemporary design. The location is close enough to Birmingham to enjoy city life, but close to the ring road for easy motorway access. Theres a young fell about the area as its surrounded by a number of universities.I wouldn't recommend the room service as my pizza was burnt, but the breakfast was varied and constantly replenished

A modern university with a good vibe, very welcoming especially the medicine and neuroscience department. Right in the heart of the city centre with good accommodation facilities for the students

Discrimination is very strong if you are not a medical student. Only they get free ipads plus extra medical resources and funding. And students from other courses are not allowed to enter medicine students’ study area, let alone walking through their hallway. For some healthcare courses, lesson are still 90% online when COVID is long over. Lecturers took over 72 hours to reply to students queries, or some never got a reply. We see no passion or enthusiasm from most of their lecturers, and yet they blame only us and called us the most stupid year. I only applied for here because it’s used to be top 15 for pharmacy course, now it’s rock bottom. Until their ranks go back up I absolutely do not recommend studying here for pharmacy.
