Papaya Thai Street Food
We ordered the crispy chicken pad Thai, crispy pork belly and the dumplings through Uber eats. I must say that the food was amazing with HUGE servings! The service over the phone was great too. The only downside was the long wait for delivery. Having read the other reviews, I accept that we may have caught them on a particularly busy day. We leave Edinburgh tomorrow however we would definitely return to Papaya to eat again in the future. Maybe next time we will dine in :)

I have to say Papaya is such a wonderful restaurant, one of the most friendly and delicious restaurants in Edinburgh! I endorse it as a PhD candidate at the University of Edinburgh. The owner/driver is so friendly and hospitable. I was surprised and moved by the cuisines as a Thai food person…chicken satay and lamb skewers are one of the top dishes among all the Edinburgh Thai food restaurants; and, their Pad See Ew, gosh, I cannot find a word to describe: noodles are chewy, sauce is appetising, quantity is satisfying. So is Gun Hom Pa! The prawn spring rolls! The best spring rolls that I have ever had in my life - I lived 20 years in China and this is the first time! Bangkok style pork ribs is a must as well. I just ordered five dishes this time but none of them disappointed me! Will order many time in the future and try other dishes; hope to eat in some day.

A wee gem ! It's a family business, the type of business where people put their heart and soul into it. The food is absolutely scrumptious, authentic thai , always fresh. The portions are big and well priced. Chicken satay and Thai green curry are to die for! Highly recommended it!

Not only do they take 1hour40minutes when they’re only a 10 minute drive but my lamb skewers came Raw. Their food is great and it’s my second order but twice my orders came over 1hour40 minutes. They need to set their priorities straight.

Came for a quick dinner, they were happy to let us sit in even though it’s more of a takeaway place. Had the vegan pad Thai and drunk noodles, both were absolutely delicious and huge portions so we had leftovers. Very reasonable prices and nice staff.

Over for Fringe weekend and staying next door. Ordered selection of starters and the egg noodles. Delicious food, servedchot and fresh and the people are so friendly.

Ordered twice this week because I loved it so much! The vegan options are amazing and I can’t wait to try them all. I especially recommend the pineapple fried rice, very generous portion & so delicious. I can’t get enough of the veggie spring rolls!!
