Had a really great experience working with Jamie on a kitchen-diner extension. Communication was easy and he made the entire process a breeze. He was very receptive to our ideas and was able to give us a design with a blend of style and practicality that was spot on. Highly recommend for any first-timers looking for a skilled and easy-to-work-with architect.

We asked Jamie to design a front porch and look at some remodelling for the entire front of our house - it was the first time we had used an architect, and I am glad we chose Jamie. He was really good - listened to what we wanted and produced a few practical options that allowed us to focus our own thoughts. He then took forward the final design. Everything was timely, Jamie communicated clearly and was responsive to requests. We would definitely recommend his services to others.

Jamie was recommended to me by our builder who we trust implicitly, which is always a good start. My husband and I had different ideas on what we wanted, so Jamie always had his work cut out! He provided a design completely different to what I originally had in mine but suited us both. He had great ideas, and vision and has been brilliant to deal with from start to finish. Even though our plans are now signed off, Jamie is on hand for further help and support which is reassuring. He is professional and friendly and I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and family.

Jamie has been a fantastic support from start to finish. At the start of the process, we researched various architects but found Jamie to be the most responsive and personable. He initially visited our home, where we discussed at length our ideas and he took these on board whilst also making other suggestions to improve our ideas even further using his expertise. Jamie was in regular contact with us through the planning and designing stage, and we had regular Zoom meetings to touch base and discuss any queries. Jamie supported us in completing any administrative tasks i.e. submitting plans to the council etc. He also liaised with the council and chased them up when there were delays from their end. Once the plans had been approved, we still felt comfortable contacting Jamie for support and he has always been happy to help. We would highly recommend Jamie for his professionalism, knowledge and excellent communication. Thank you Jamie!

I would highly recommend Nicholson Studio Ltd for building/house renovation. Jamie was very thorough when drawing up plans, he listened to our needs for our home and also offered ideas we would not of thought of.His experience dealing with planning permission, regulation and structural engineers were very helpful considering we had very little knowledge of the process of extending the house.Very happy with the end result 5⭐️

My school was fortunate enough to work with RIBA and Jamie to complete a project during the pandemic. Jamie created videos and worksheets for the children, he was great on video call meetings and the children loved asking him questions about his job and why he chose to be an architect. We decided to plan and create a model of a Viking house, it was really interesting to go through the planning journey step by step. Jamie made it fun and engaging for the children. Normally Jamie would have been able to come into school and complete the project with us, but he was adaptable and we videoed at the end of the project so he could see the finished models and provided feedback to the class! We recently instructed Nicholson Studio to help us with the concept design of our Victorian House renovation, and we are very pleased we did.
