Monzie Estate

We had the pleasure of staying at Brae Cottage on the Monzie Estate in 2022 for our honeymoon and couldn’t wait to get back to see more of the location. We stayed in the East Lodge this time and we’re just as blown away. The crenellated tower makes for a lovely two bedroom two bathroom base of exploring. With a fully outfitted kitchen, snug sitting area (with wood burning fireplace) and the rooftop step out to view the estate, it really is perfect! The hospitality of a bottle of wine, homemade brownies and a pail of firewood to start us off was just the icing on the cake. As a bonus, Glenturret and its Michelin star restaurant is located at the end of the road! We will be back, to be sure.

We really enjoyed our stay at the East Gatehouse Lodge-it had some lovely character, the rooms were clean, warm and cosy, and the beds were very comfortable. The lodge was situated at the entrance to the Monzie estate, which was very picturesque. We were left some tasty brownies and a bottle of wine, which was a lovely extra too. Although we were only there for a few days, we were welcomed to join a tour of the castle by Alexandra, which was very interesting. The lodge was not far from some lovely walks too, which were especially stunning in the Autumn with the changes in colours. We would definitely recommend this lodge.

The cottage provided everything we wanted for a few nights away for our wedding anniversary. Fantastically quiet location with great views and walks available straight from the front door.The facilities were great with everything we needed to self cater and wemade good use of the hot tub and enjoyed a couple of fires in the log burning stove in the evenings.Would definitely recommend for those wanting a quiet intimate retreat.

We have often stayed at Monzie and even brought our extended family! This is our favorite place to go in the world. The Gardener's Cottage is wonderfully decorated and appointed. We love waking up to the sound of the brook outside our window with the wonderful mountain view. We sit in the cozy kitchen in the morning with tea and coffee to plan our day trips around the beautiful countryside and visit nearby villages. We often just take walks on the property and say hello to the sheep and cows (they are good listeners but not great conversationalists!) Finally, we enjoy the fireplace in the living room at the end of each day. Everything is magical at this cottage, and we have never been disappointed. The owners are fantastic and have always responded to all requests to ensure our comfort over the years. Highly recommended.

I booked one of the cottages for my parents to celebrate my mums 60th, they had a wonderful time. The views from the cottage were breathtaking, the cottage itself was beautifully decorated and had lots to entertain if you stayed in, particularly the record player and a really good selection of records to listen to. They also enjoyed a lot of trips out as there’s plenty to do around the cottage, and lots of decent walking too. They also loved that the cottage was pet friendly and could bring their dog with them, who I’m told also had a fab time. They would absolutely recommend and would definitely stay here again.

We just returned from a week long stay at the Gardener's Cottage at Monzie & it was amazing! The cottage is so wonderful! The perfect mix of authentic charm with modern amenities with a lot of room to move about. The property is simply beautiful! There is an abundance of wildlife - bunnies, deer, & the sounds of sheep & birds just outside the window. The owners were helpful, responsive & gracious! You feel as though you are in a secluded piece of paradise but are only a 5 minute drive from convenience of dining & grocery stores. Highly, highly recommend & hope to return!

Myself and a group of friends had a lovely Christmas weekend at Mill House on Monzie Estate. As a former b&b, Mill House is ideal for groups of couples as each room is furnished to a hotel standard with its own bathroom, TV and tea and coffee making facilities, so everyone felt like they were getting a luxury experience! The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking big meals and the living room area has plenty comfy seating for big groups and was so cosy with the fire. There's lots of information provided about activities in the area, and walks to do straight from the door. We had the perfect time!

A truly gorgeous experience in the gardeners cottage on the Monzies estate. Alexandra was an amazing host and the castle was well worth visiting (guided tour) as was the hydro electric plant. We saw an amazing array of wildlife during our stay. It's well worth taking one of the many walks around the estate. Crieff is a lovely victorian town and well worth exploring and being central gave us the opportunity to visit other charming places such as Aberdeen. Dundee. Perth, Stirling, Pitlochry to name a few. We loved it and hope to visit again, even if only to try Alex's home made chocolate brownies!A huge thank you for a super holiday. Highly recommended.

Well what can you say about the Mill House Monzie, from the moment we arrived to the minute we left we never had one issue, the host messaged us to say they were on hand if there were any issues...but there were no such thing, the host left us a couple of bottles of lovely red wine and a couple of packs of home made chocolate brownie which was amazing!. The house is a converted Mill House (as the name suggests) over 3 levels into 5 self contained en-suite bedrooms all finished off to an extremely high standard, they were spotless, the beds had top quality bedding, the matresses were as comfy as Ive slept in anywhere, the en-suites all supplied with best quality toiletlies, flat screen TVs tea/coffee making facilities etc, The living space and kitchen is open plan but very spacious and plenty room for 10, again all finished off to the highest quality of material, including original harris tweed sofas which were very comfy. There is an amazing log burner in the lounge. A stunning find.

Fabulous location for our weekend in Scotland. The house is well appointed, kitchen stocked with every utensil you need to cook a family roast dinner. Too often are there items missing but Keppoch has everything.The fire was set ready to light, a lovely touch and house cosy to arrive to.The beds are extremely comfy with the softest pillows, usually a disappointment but instead I found myself searching for the label so I could buy them on my return.All in all a gorgeous home that we will return to.The customer service was second to none, quick response from the owner throughout our stay and flexible for our late arrival whilst we allowed storm babet to pass. Just lovely! This is how to run a holiday cottage. Thank you!
