Sawston Riding School

My Grandaughters absolutely loved their lesson. The stables are clearly very well run and the horses are in excellent condition. The helpers were brilliant and both little girls felt that they had learnt a lot and can’t wait to go back. Thank you for making their day, as well as their Garanny’s!

What a lovely greeting when we arrived, staff were warm and welcoming. They matched our daughter well with the right pony, that gave her confidence and excellent Tuition. The yard was immaculate and there was a wonderful atmosphere! All the ponies were well cared for and every member of staff made us feel really welcome, my daughter can’t wait for her next lesson! My daughter has had two riding lessons at Sawston so far and absolutely loved it. She is a complete beginner and cannot wait for her next lesson. The horses are very well cared for and the yard is lovely, everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Very impressed !The yard is tidy , good facilities for staff as well as the horses which is often missed.My daughter age 10 had a half hour private lesson on Frazzle - glossy coat, sweet natured and perfect for a beginner .Instructer was the best I’ve seen teach at this level -Highly recommended-

Can’t rate this riding school highly enough! One by one since 2019 our three daughters, and then myself, have begun riding here and as a family we ride here three times a week. We have felt informed about the school’s approach to safety and teaching methods throughout. Their attentiveness to both rider and pony needs are constant and err on the side of caution at the same time as encouraging growth and progression. The instructors and yard staff are all incredibly knowledgeable, clearly super-experienced and passionate professionals. The instructors are more than able to work with riders of all abilities and are very calm at all times. It is a clean and well managed riding school and has a lovely atmosphere. This is definitely a riding school where anyone can continue their riding development, be challenged, and supported in a safe environment.

I love my riding lessons at Sawston. Beth is an excellent instructor, firm but kind, always giving me helpful feedback in an encouraging way. All staff are very helpful.

I've been to the riding school for the past 2 months and had great experiences with the coaches and the horses! I also took my mum, a complete beginner, for a shared private session which has been really fun for both of us. It's a lovely and friendly stable, and I will recommend the place to anyone interested in picking up riding :)

I have been a client at Sawston Riding School for many years and keep going back for the wonderful horses, knowledgeable instructors, and brilliant friendships. The most important thing, however, is that every single horse on the yard is loved and cared for.

Our son has very much enjoyed his lessons over the last 2.5 years. Always very friendly, professional, fun and supportive.

Everyone is so lovely, the horses are so sweet. The instructors are really nice and tailored to what you need and want. Nicest riding school I've ever been too
