Aside the pastries, any other cooked meals aren't fresh, moimoi tasted like it's been over 2 days, stick meat was burnt and too dried from over heating with microwave.Not buying again at Tasty Catford

Tasty African Food
I ordered a lot of food from Tasty. My experience was pleasant. The food is amazing, especially their puff puff and meat pie. It’s so good that I forgot to take a picture of it. That’s when you know the food tastes amazing. I’d also love to say thank you to the two lovely staff that served me and my mum. Excellent customer service and welcoming. Will definitely be back.

Stopped by this place in Catford today to pick up some food for the kids for a road trip, got there at 12:05pm and they were not opened, even though the opening time says 12pm. I called to double check if they were going to open today, the lady on the phone asked me to wait for 10 more minutes only for them to open at 12:19pm. They finally opened and there was no apology for keeping me waiting outside for that long. Whilst I was waiting outside, other customers came and left thinking they were not going to open. This is not the first time this has happened. I think they should extend their opening times. In the end I got a parking ticket. The food is good, but it's just sad that this is the only branch closer to me, won't be visiting there anymore unfortunately.

Ordered from tasty on Deliveroo, they did not bring the 2x beef which was part of my order. Called to tell them and they didn’t take accountability for their mistake but instead all staff denied that they did that order. Staff said if you order again call us and let us know your name and we will add it to the order… which is very impractical.

The food was really nice. Tasty has a great location and I had heard good things about it from former colleagues. The one letdown was the staff. The woman who served us made it seem like we were bothering her. She was watching something on her phone and couldn't wait to get back to that.

This place is Nigeria away from Nigeria with authentic dishes and a wide variety of meal. The puff puff is to die for and the meat pie brings memories of home

Quality of food is good and portion is reasonable.Each time I visit, I always find that I have to repeat my order over 4 times before they are able to get it right.It's unbelievable that customers are charged 50p per bowl if you want your take away microwaved.

The food is fine but the service needs to improve drastically. I've come here more than 10 times but today will be my last day if I can help it. Recently they have had younger staff in who lack basic customer service and give customers food like Egusi soup in broken containers. Its just bad service my food is contaminated. I saw them hold it and pack it right in front of me so I know they felt how damaged the container was.

The server (a tall African lady) gave me my puff puff serving. I asked her about one of the puffpuff which was soaked in oil, undercooked and deformed.She first LIED that this is how puffpuff is supposed to be.Then only finally agreed to change the puffpuff after her co-worker told her to (she was ready to fight me on it).Lastly, she HISSED/JEERED at me when I asked her where the bin is.Time of incident: 8th October, 2023 at approx 2:30pmIs this real life?? I was so highly disappointed.

I’m not sure why I go back! Egusi soup lacks that lovely tomato base I expect. I had to decant it into a pot, add tomato and pepper before I could eat. There is just something off point with this (second time buying this dish - so not a one iff) But look, maybe it’s just me! Maybe my region does it differently, and everyone else likes it this way. But won’t be buying this again.
