Lovely little place with great views. On a clear day you can see the Isle of Man. We walked along the rocky beach to Kearny and back. It's challenging, because the rocks are slippy with seaweed, but worth it to see the views out to sea, the farmland and the birds - flocks of swans flying overhead.

Truly spectacular scenery and quiet. Relatively undiscovered part of our N Ireland coastline and about 60 minutes travel from Belfast due to rural roads.Enjoy the peace and solitude and discover some National Trust gems at Knockinelder Village. Super safe shallow shelving beach

A very nice and surprisingly quiet beach with fine views on a good day.If you walk from Kearney Village you will need good mobility due to the roughness of the terrain. The water was clean and no photograph can do the bay justice. The beach is a mixture of pebble and sand.We saw no dog fouling and only some washed-up sea plastic. If you like wildlife you may see Linnets, Pied Wagtails and Sanderlings along the coast.Overall I would recommend that this beach is worth a visit.

Great spot to park and take advantage of some picnic tables and easy access to a fabulous beach! Golden sand, clean water, on a great day it is absolutely beautiful. Equally great for a brisk walk in cooler Autum/Winter weather! Check out high tide times before visiting.

Very traditional village setting with pleasant sea side walks. Mixture of loose stone, grass and rocky surfaces so good walking foot wear needed. Small carpark stone surfaced but inclined to potholes so drive/ park slowly. Toilets closed at the moment (February 2021).

A lovely small bay with district landscape. The pebble beach is very special. Walking on it you can hear the sound both tide and pebble rolling. It so peaceful. Like other natural national trust, there is no public facilities. Kids love the pebble beach very much but it might not be very comfortable for elders. There is still a small park of sand beach but the tide eats it up quickly.
