I had a comprehensive restoration completed on my Rover Mini Cooper Sport 500 and found the whole process straight forward and professional. Jason and the guys at Mini Restoration are enthusiasts as well as highly experienced restorers, covering all aspects of restoration work. I knew the bodywork was corroding quite badly for a late edition Classic Mini, but this presented no problem for the guys here and the re-build was excellent with a top quality fit and paint job. About 70% of the bodywork needed replacement or repair but the Car came out looking like new. All the mechanicals were stripped and refurbished/renewed as required and the gearbox given a complete overhaul. The engine had previously been rebuilt so needed only cosmetic attention.Discussions with Jason were always friendly and constructive with no real issues and visits to the workshops were positively encouraged to monitor progress and see what other Minis were going through similar restorations, although they do restore Hornets and one or two other marques. I received regular updates and photos as well as a monthly breakdown of costs.I can certainly recommend these guys for a Classic Mini restoration but be patient as they do everything to the highest standard and are determined to get everything spot on.
