1st time I've been here. It was mid week and quiet. Only a few other people in there with us. It is a good sized place with a bar and many seats.We had poppadoms with the pickle tray. I Ordered a mixed kebab starter and a lamb bhuna with a Naan to share.The food was good, enjoyed all of it and would come back here again!

Great curry house. Fast service, all the courses came quickly and were delicious. Well priced and took the leftovers home which is a nice option to have. Been to several around Sheffield and it's definitely one of the best.

Really disappointed after reading reviews.All 4 of our curries were very very greasy as was the rice.The starter of popadoms onion bhagi and prawn puree were all very nice though.Much better out there for a more reasonable price.won't return.

The food is good. Service equally good. Its air conditioned which on the hottest day of the year was a real plus. Good selection of drinks. Quite a good size for the area. Prices are very reasonable. Happy to return.

Celebrated my mums 60th birthday. The staff were really friendly. I'd asked beforehand if I could bring a birthday cake and also asked questions regarding allergies and they were very attentive and answered my questions. Food was delicious and plentiful. As an extra surprise they put on a birthday song as they brought out the cake. An excellent experience for both adults and children.

Lovely staff at Jaflong. The foods was also delicious. We had some poppadoms and chutney to start, the chutneys were lovely and light. We then had some korma and pilau rice. The chicken pieces were tender and the sauce delicious and creamy. The cheese naan was also really good and not oily at all! Will definitely go there/order take outs again!

The food is excellent - it has quality written all over it. The whole table of 10 had no complaints and I thought the ingredients were very high quality and it was cooked with great skill. There were some subtle flavours and I absolutely stuffed myself. The restaurant was very busy and this leads to the only downside, the wait for food. Most of us had starters but it took an hour and a half to get the main courses meaning that one member of the party didn't eat during 90 minutes. Love the food, not so keen on the wait...

First visit in a very long time. Enjoyable experience.The popadoms and sources were excellent. My wife and I ate there and with a pint each it came to less than £45.Couple of minor gripes: the lighting was very bright; I prefer a more subdued, intimate feel in restaurants. And please change that carpet between the restaurant and toilets!!

Went yesterday for my birthday. Treat from my two kids and partners. Service was over all good, Barr a drink been spilt at the table while one of the waiters was stood and he didn’t even offer us a serviette let alone move plates to help. Starters were fantastic, we all went for a variant of the chat. Want to say that three of the mains were fantastic according to eaters. One was very very hot, it wasn’t that hot the last time it was ordered. I ordered a vegetable balti. While the sauce was lush, the curry consisted of sliced onions a few garden peas and some frozen cubed carrot. That was it! Now any vegetable curry I’ve eaten had potatoes some cauliflower etc, very very disappointed. And for 10.50 I was robbed. If I go again I will stick to Paneer. If I go again.

This was my third visit to Jaflong. I have tried several dishes and they have all been delicious. The staff are very friendly and are happy to explain ingredients. Unfortunately the restaurant is closing soon and hopefully moving to a new location.
